This number diminishes a dang lot at "claim or die"
Especially when you're automatically at hammer

So do you think a scum would be more likely to play it risky or a town?

Like either way that fakeclaim is going to sound like nonsense. Does a scum gain some sort of confidence that they will be believed from it being on the safelist? Consider also that the scum player has to answer to his team if he's instantly vaporized-- there's less community among town I think.

Remember we're going entirely on LOGIC here as you have conceded to play this one on my rules.

yes I think it is logical that she is scum because why would town (who is not corrik or chris or spiral or pez/blade on a particulary feisty day) do that

Think of all the roles she could be where it would be beneficial to remain hidden behind a bizarre claim rather than reveal it truthfully.

It may in fact outnumber the number of scum players in the game.

It's a waste of time as content in and of itself. I was discussing it to see if Tom's logic on it made sense to me as internally consistent. Much like other topics it does not.

I do think that Lea being something that will "resolve itself" is actually content people who will survive that long should take note of. For me she's an obvious late game lynch if she is still claiming to be Doom then.

Honestly though even putting that aside

Doom just isn't something you'd bother to put on a safelist is the thing

It's like when I fakeclaimed Angeal Hewley when I was SK in FFVII mafia. I knew that guy was not in the game and my fakeclaim list was junk, so I just blind claimed it, and of course random significant Crisis Core character was not in the game.

It's possible they saw the writing on the wall that Red's claim was not going to save him. He was still the lynch leader at that time and I was arguing hard for lynching him still. I do think we could've potentially got him if push came to shove.

I won't rule out the possibility that 5tarscream is mafia, but at the same time I've felt his game to be townlike throughout, so I won't pursue it right now.

Absolutely yes. It's difficult to identify when that occurs and that's sorta what I meant when I said "warping" in the list of things you don't do, but I've been working on that a while. Reading the politics topic for a while a year or two ago really made me realize that's a thing that happens around here pretty often-- easier to notice when it's happening when it's not happening directly to you. Especially when you're someone like me it's easy to get caught up in that kinda stuff. But yeah it's a kinda thing I have to actively work at to avoid, but knowing it even exists is half the battle and I've been getting better at it.

I mostly agree with your take on me.

I'll just say that I very rarely have a conversation about anything exclusively with the intent to be a devil's advocate. At times on a topic I'll accentuate something I disagree with consensus on despite agreeing for the most part, but it's really just I mostly just have a healthy supply of weird opinions on things and generally find it more interesting to discuss those opinions than the stuff where I'm with consensus.

I'm a fan of talking with you too. One of the few people on the board who can (and usually will) disagree with me but have never crossed over into hostility or just dismissing/ignoring/warping my attempt to make a point. I know if I have a discussion with you, even if we don't agree, it'll generally be civil and in good faith. Sometimes you'll just bail out, but that's probably for the best.

I wouldn't considering the necessary external catalyst on the hair. At that point it really is more like Mario. If Kirby was always Milky Way Wishes Kirby you'd have a better argument on that front but it'd still be iffy.

To me it's mostly how he implements the attacks he steals (he's definitely more of a shapeshifter than like Mr. Fantastic who was technically allowed), and the fact that some of the abilities have rather elaborate alterations (like UFO Kirby or Wing Kirby-- he wouldn't necessarily need to turn into a UFO for example to have the abilities of one but that's how his body decides to do it) that lets Kirby barely qualify.

Honestly the only compelling argument for Kirby working to me, is that his interpretation of abilities is often achieved through shapeshifting.

Like he's not copying the ability exactly but will do a Kirby'd spin of what the enemy does, which can cause weird things like morphing his body into a bow to fire a flaming arrow instead of just like, getting a bow.

Also keep in mind Kirby shows his elasticity in his natural flight, where he puffs up real big and fills with air-- no ability absorption required for that.

I kinda don't hate these bottom few movies that are being ranked. Leprechaun and Anaconda are dumb but watchable for me. Nothing I'd ever make a point to watch or anything but if they're on SyFy and I want a distraction to half pay attention to? Why not. Haven't seen the demonic toys though.

Not sure if that means I'm more forgiving of dumb movies than I should be or this list is overall better than the usual gauntlet fare. Looking at the list I'm thinking it's the latter. Not a lot of movies on there I'm thinking are obviously worse.
