Specifically I chose SNES and Genesis because they started "the console wars" which I think is a big part of the identity of console gaming.

I probably keep SNES regardless but Genesis might replace with Wii or 360. MAYBE replace both with both but I do think SNES library being as strong as it was at the time it was matters.

DTC was very frustrating to read. Felt like I was getting next to no credit for stopping town from tearing itself apart and getting a lot of flak for being "un-fun". Guess we'll just let every game devolve into scum-winning chaos from now on, sounds much more "fun".

Dune 2 as a Puzzle game

I mean. Maybe. Kind of a waste of the license though.

This show is great. Episode 4 was the only episode I wasn't too into but it was fine filler. I got so hyped that the intro is literally beat for beat the old one more or less. Magneto is so good in this series and all the VA is on point.

Gonna watch Episode 5 tonight, luckily unspoiled thus far aside from hearing general buzz about it.

She is the best 2 drop right now I think. I guess she's countered by destroy is her only weakness.

She's a better Maximus and a better Lizard. I think at minimum they'll drop her bite to -3 eventually but we'll see.

Side note feels good not wanting cards for a few weeks. Got my keys got back up to 4 again and tokens to 6000. Feel safe.

This game is fucking annoying sometimes. I went against this deck in silver conquest. Was a very good back and forth but they ended up winning in the end. I was like huh, that was a neat deck variant I haven't come across yet, lemme check it out myself. The very next game, a gold conquest, I went up against an exact mirror match. No can ever convince me that this game doesn't have deck based matchmaking. Absurd.

There is enough anecdotal data of completely absurd coincidences like that-- particularly on deck swaps-- that I feel it becomes statistically significant anecdote at this point.

Even if it's not intentional no doubt in my mind it's there. Mobile games have notoriously sloppy programming in general.

I think the mechanic of seeing him coming is cool and why I think +2 is a no go. +2 is just too weak a bump to care about. I'd rather it stay +3

The mechanic is honestly fine it's just so overtuned right now

6/10 with +3 I think Red Hulk is probably balanced. Still a huge upside (would be 6/28 in your game) but because you could see it coming and the opponent controls and it depends on drawing it I think that'd still be potentially fair.

No Way Home is a wacky fanservice scenario which is awesome just for being a fanservice scenario but it's also one that is very clearly is led into by MCU writing. It's not at all the same.

Not a big fan of the culture in there so I think that'd just be the end of the line for me

I feel like it's the former because this site actually had a notable web presence once upon a time and it gradually eroded away by the site doing nothing of note for years and years. You feel like it's the latter because you want to make excuses for SBAllen because he's a nice guy.

Who's to say which one of us is right. It's impossible to know for sure because we can't redo what happened

If GameFAQs is a truly well run site it's treated better by upper management that sees value in it or has different upper management entirely.

The path of GameFAQs as a brand isn't just one point where it was sold.

It's impossible to know where exactly it'd be if CJayC or someone similarly capable/driven kept running it but you can't just assume that the site is always hit by a wall where upper management is like "who cares throw it in for scraps" if the site is run well. That's not how businesses work believe it or not. Stagnation matters.
