Update to the above: Finally read 8 chapters just to see if the series did actually go dark and no, it's just a weird, angsty romance manga where even the edgelord gimmick doesn't seem to go far. I was kinda hoping for some kind of a twist, but I guess if they did anything really crazy it would have been mentioned in the summary.

I read up to 4.1 last night. It seems okay, but it hasn't sold me yet. Didn't see your previous post. The artwork is a bit off too, and I'm not a big fan of it.

there's no games currently out that i'm interested in aside from p5s, and even then i don't have that much interest in it

I generally don't play video games anymore (Well technically I play like 40 hours of STO a week but whatever). There is Trails of Cold Steel 4, but after learning that the new Trails game has action combat, I was kinda turned off. Apart from that there are a few switch games I'd like to play, but nothing really of substance.

How would an individual even get into that? Are there customizable automated software packages? Because it seems like a lot of them just do it via some larger group that handles their IT shit.

You'd have to create the 2D model (or pay for one) and use Live2D or Vtuber Studio (those are the two major ones). II don't really know anything beyond that as being a social media influencer isn't really interesting to me.

Yes. She has like 5 different personas now, and two of them have basically killed each other and eaten their heads. She was doing this psychological horror thing for the past month where her personalities were trying to both co-exist and become the dominant personality.

What I find interesting is that I visit a anime/manga-specific imageboard, and I've yet to see a single thread posted about Demon Slayer. I am baffled about how it's successful or why, so I've basically discarded it as being a generational thing (I assume that a lot of Japanese kids aren't going to visit a niche website).

But by post counts alone, AotS on that site would be mixed between Yuru Camp S2, Redo of the Healer, or Mushoku Tensei, which aren't really geared towards children.

Well, that and I just learned the original format was a 4-koma which I don't feel works for that kind of story. I'm less likely to get into 4-koma in general. I didn't even read Lucky Star's manga and I really liked Lucky Star. Now *that* I really wish got another season. Considering that it had a good deal of merch at one point, I'm a little surprised that they didn't do another season... although it looks like it has a "net animation" now?

I wasn't the biggest fan of Lucky Star. Probably more of a product of when it came out (it would have enjoyed it if I watched it back then like I watched Haruhi), but I'm not sure if it translates well into modern anime tastes. Then again, I didn't really like Clannad either, which apparently means there's something wrong with me. As for 4-koma, Hitoribocchi is a 4-koma, but I'm under the impression that 4-koma are supposed to be light hearted / fun manga instead of more serious ones, and Lucky Star wasn't supposed to be serious, and it was notable for being a pre-cgdct cgdct (I'd argue that it was a progenitor, but cgdct didn't really become a thing until K-ON).

Or I'm just speaking out my ass.

I posted this elsewhere, but the main reason I don't watch them is because they don't stream content I'm interested in. It seems like whenever I see Astel specifically, he is playing Apex. I know that Aruran has way more variety, so that's on me for not watching him. Like right now Astel is playing Apex and Aruran is playing Nier: Automata. Don't really care for either of those games, and they're games that other holos have played into the ground.
