That's kind of surprising, in the trailer it kind of seemed like they were pushing a "you're not a real american unless you believe in ????" narrative.

There are like 4 lines in the film about the cause of the war. You can infer but I think them tying Cali and Texas together blurred it so much you don't actually know what the war is over. Basically the behind the scenes is the president took over a 3rd term and it started the war. It doesn't say almost anything else about it.

Now I personally thought the ending was a bit anti climactic tbh. like a small ass squad of soldiers basically waltz in to the White House and find the president hiding under his desk of all places. And the soldiers kind of all posed after they shot him like it was some B-star action film lmao.

Yeah the ending was a bit loose but I imagine at that point of loss there's no one left to fight for the president.

It really wasn't! It was more of a viewing on a journalist during the war. It was pretty laser focused on the individual experiences of the leads and not the overall premise. I thought the sound editing and soundtrack were also amazing.

I saw the map and that apparently Texas and California were a team by themselves and that kinda sinks the immersion.

That's the one I thing I wish was explained but I'm okay not knowing exactly why. This movie doesn't haven't to be a direct parallel to our reality.

I liked it because it left it more for you to just experience the film and not get lost in whether you agreed with the political premise. They gave some hints as to what was going on and that was enough to get the gist.

i was about to post in the Live Nation/Ticketmaster topic that I think treating politics like team sports is the thing thats really banned, but apparently I was wrong because that topic was deleted. It wasnt even really political (at least not inherently, Im sure people could have made a political discussion out of it but you could say that about anything)

They definitely want people to leave this site, the userbase as a whole is at least 3x the age they are treating us right now

It's all states. It really depends on the provider and how they want to decide your future for you.

They literally didn't even use numbing cream for my last insertion. I was there on 800mg of ibuprofen and clenched fists/jaw.

I'm more worried about my next IUD insertion that this laproscopic surgery. The insertion is the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life and I'm on my third one. They really should insert them with local anesthetic. But again, women are made to suffer.

All the medical male birth control options keep getting shut down because they have side effects... That are completely similar to the side effects of female birth control. But it's okay for women to suffer constantly. That's fine.

I'm not sure why there's no temporary medical device for men like an IUD for their balls yet
