Incredible album. A ton of these songs get shuffled around with each listen, but the top 3 are set in stone. Eraser in particular is so anxiety-inducing, there's nothing quite like it for me.

This was my introduction to psychedelic music, and I was immediately blown away by how good this album, and Shpongle in general, is. I had more to say, but NFUN pretty much sums it up! If you enjoyed this, definitely check out Nothing Lasts...But Nothing Is Lost; it was the other album I was considering for nomination, but Tales just has a little more sentimental value to me.

Great opener, very good songs at the end, and then the middle is just kind of meh.

As for changing the format of RtT, I'm on board with the idea, and I would also suggest that when this officially switches over that we have a break week to hash out some themes to cover in advance. For my part, I had the idea to compile everything we've covered so far and sort out their "traits" (so far I have decade released, genre, band or singular artist, male/female fronted, mainstream vs obscure). From there I'll try to identify some areas that could use some highlighting, and then suggest a theme based on that.

I think this will also help resolve situations where there's an artist we as a collective would like to see covered but we didn't agree with the specific album nominated. Off the top of my head, I remember a few people would have preferred Funeral over The Suburbs (in regards to Arcade Fire), and in regards to Portishead I felt Dummy would probably have been more appropriate (although I do really like Third).

Hmm, Spotify is pretty much my go-to unless I have the album to rip myself and put on my phone (which is the case here). I checked youtube, and oddly enough even though it has to load a new page for each song the transitions are better (but still not seamless). I'll look around for a better source, or maybe I can try to upload it on YT as a singular entity.

Don't know if it'll be a difference maker since nothing is actually missing from the Spotify upload, I just personally hate when an "official" source has gaps between songs when there shouldn't be.
