I also appreciate how the game uses a proprietary engine instead of using Unreal or something like 90% of games nowadays.

I preferred Action Forms (Chasm, Carnivores, and Cryostasis) over them because the "Alternate Soviet Timeline" is a tired trope. Action Forms at least tries something different.

Upon further investigation and seeing his online posts, seems Aaron Bushnell was a terminally online, extremist pos. He celebrated the deaths of the 3 USA servicemen who died and also all the civilians who died on October 7th, so we don't have to have sympathy for him afterall.
His Reddit account is acebush1 and is still up in case anyone is interested.

I mean, I get it? No one wants to see innocent civilians being bombed and killed. But knowing that, knowing what they've done, why would one man's death move them to pity?

I feel the Western world is more apathetic about death than we ever have been in modern times. This guy just threw his life away. Unbelievably stupid, and this is coming from someone with a family history of depression and suicide.

Most reality tv imo. I watched Survivor occasionally when I was young, and the most recent thing I watched was Love is Blind (just the first season).

I sometimes wonder if I'm a bad person when watching true crime docs is all I want to do.
Today for example, I don't feel like playing any video games, no anime, tv shows or films, don't feel interested in any of that.
But I DO feel like true crime. I'm happy to look at any disturbing real life stuff rn. Why am I like this?

I came back to it a few years ago but the pace on official servers was extreme. I picked some special class- I think it was Kanna?- and I was gaining levels so quickly with aoes that covered such massive areas it felt pointless. It felt like they were trying to compete with private servers, which I guess at that point they were

It's like that with all old MMOs though. They want new players to be able to catch up.

I know of the p2w controversy and lawsuit and blah blah blah, but I gotta say I love the story, music and voice acting so far. They must be using the voice actors that do anime dubs because I'm pretty sure I recognize some of them.
If anything, I definitely wanna continue playing, at least for the story.

There was one woman who was running against him who was also anti-war, but she was denied to be allowed to run unfortunately. She decided to endorse the Boris dude instead, so he is now our only hope.

I hope that Boris guy wins. He's against the war in Ukraine.
