| Doe 08/09/21 11:42:53 PM #63 | Well I finished the anime again. I remember the last episode being SOOOOOOOO tense the first time I watched. As well as Mikami's countdown. I don't know if anything has ever made me as thrilled as that. Maybe Jojolion 96 or 107. I honestly don't understand what the significance of Mikami writing Takada's suicide in his note means still. Also I prefer the manga ending from what I know of it: Ryuk showing Light's name written down. I think that's way more poetic. I used to like Matsuda shooting light because it seemed redeeming to me but this time watching is seemed more unhinged and another indication that he never belonged in the task force. I'm looking at the colored chapters online and they're really charming. The manga artstyle is great, I like the soft faces. Light looks like such a dork and it's cute. The anime is more angular. Death Note has a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes lol. Checks out --- |

And Sakura wouldn't have a problem flying to America given how much Kira is boosting their channel.Maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention but it happened so close to the president getting a call from Kira to actively shut down Near's unit that I thought that was the president's response, like he had his aides call in a tabloid and make it out to be a mob action. The alternative, that Light himself sent directions to the same TV station that the Japanese police and Light's L taskforce have directly cooperated with and ordered before, might actually be stupider. Because that casts even more suspicion on Light. --- |
