You can use a VPN to temporarily switch to (in this case, presumably) AU/NZ and it should work.

I have heard that Mod Organizer (the best one to use for Bethesda games) is problematic and may not fully work, but I've never attempted it.

Mod Organizer 2 works flawlessly for me. You just need to copy a few tedious console commands which allow a game to launch MO2 when launched via Steam, and then you can do whatever you want. I have Skyrim, New Vegas and Fallout 4 modded and everything works fine.

People here need to stop being so obtuse. Fandom is going to make literally dozens of dollars with the increase in ad revenue.

I've mentioned it before but the easier solution might be to just use something like ProBoards.

CE got the LUE treatment and political discussions and hornyposting have been banned. Instilling these rules on an obscure part of an obscure site that hasn't been updated since the early 2000s is somehow going to make things more welcoming for new users and advertisers.

Out of all the properties Fandom owns, the only one that's financially viable is Wikia, and that's only because of how overwhelmingly popular it's become with children making entire Wikis devoted to the dumbest shit imaginable. More Wikis = more ad revenue. If you think it's hyperbole, look for yourself. We went from there being really thought-out, complex Wikis for all kinds of fandoms to people making zero effort Wikis for fan fiction, headcanons and even ridiculously specific shit like television logos.

If you look at Fandom's other properties, they're all associated with older demographics. GameFAQS never got with the times and got superceded by YouTube guides and its classic board system doesn't appeal as much as random Discord chats. GameSpot's written articles don't get as much engagement and ad revenue as their online video content. Giant Bomb has been slowly dying and its YouTube presence is pretty middling. I won't even mention TV Guide since it's been irrelevant for years and years.

I think Fandom is just interested in trimming the fat and getting rid of what they don't see as immediately financially viable, but without actually spending time and money towards improving the properties they have outside of strangely making it more easy to make zero-effort Wikia pages.

Nepotism. She had multiple failed attempts at getting into modeling and acting and eventually got into the business because her father was also in the same field and had connections.

Stuff like ProBoards and Invision still work. I don't see why someone can't just make a spin-off board using one of those.

I've heard of things like people getting banned in some online games cause some DRM for the game didn't work properly in Linux and things of that nature. Along with the software around gaming not working the best, although I admit I haven't actually tried with my setup. I mostly just don't want to spend a whole lot of time getting stuff to work

You can search any game on ProtonDB and you can thoroughly find out how well certain games work. There are noob-friendly distros (OS's) that don't require a lot of work. Some are even tailored for gaming and have a lot of useful things preinstalled.

Works for me. Getting ModOrganizer 2 set up is a slightly time consuming (one-time only) task that involves copying and pasting terminal commands from a Github page but I have a very heavily modded Skyrim SE installation where everything just works. The same goes for Fallout games. If you play Morrowind there's OpenMW which runs 100% fine and is superior to playing the game's official release.

i kinda wanna switch to linux, but, i game too often and linux isn't good enough for gaming yet IMO.

i can spin up any distro in a VM or use WSL, but if I'm not immersed and using it as my daily driver, theres no point since it will just be aimless exploration and ill forget everything

I haven't had any issues with gaming as of recent. When you install Proton-GE, everything on Steam just works. There's also Heroic which serves as a GOG/Epic Games launcher. I've noticed emulators run better, too. I've been playing a lot of Starfield and ESO and they run just as well as they do on Windows.

I was and was constantly reminded of it by both my siblings. My aunt even joked about it.

I'm finally at the point where outside of Photoshop I can use Linux for anything including 99.9% of my games. It's insane how much things have improved in just a few short years.

With W11 getting worse and W12 shaping up to be a complete mess I wouldn't be surprised if more people jumped on the Linux train.

IIRC the episodes in Final Doom were incorporated into the digital Unity re-release of Doom 2. Bethesda periodically adds in free downloadable episodes/WADs to that and the Doom 1 re-release.

If you don't want to go down that route you can download a source port like GZDoom, find all the classic IWAD files which have been borderline public domain for decades, and run them there.

Emulators have been on and off the app store for awhile. How long they last depends on several factors.

Due to EU regulations they had to revamp a lot of guidelines and they now allow for emulators, plain and simple.

Didnt think itd be this long after the announcement. Not that Id know anything about it but theres a fully functioning GB/GBC/GBA emulator.

The jump from Sonic Advance 1 to 2/3 is even more jarring.

The buildup to the first Forbidden Door was horrendous and made Dynamites that time confusing as hell. They didn't even bother to explain what NJPW is or who any of the wrestlers were.

Impact rebranded back to TNA and they put on decent wrestling shows but even with a budget increase a lot of it feels low-rent. Scott D'Amore got fired and replaced with a random suit.
