I had it for about 2 years then they started raising the price and I got rid of plus the value compared to the annual membership costs didn't add up once I did the math. To me it's a ripoff but for those who like it, good for you.

LOL Uh no I didn't buy any because I have watched Trump long enough to know he's a phony. Every business he ever started didn't last 2 years and they all ended up in bankruptcy court.

I like business people who actually know running a business is about making money and increasing value not the opposite of that.

So today in 2024, there's less African-American players in the MLB than it was in the 1980s so I assume Black kids in America either stopped playing baseball or they awfully horrible at it.

Back in the 8-bit/16-bit days: EGM and Gamepro (honorable mention to NP, it only focused on one System)

Afterwards: OPM (again the same as NP, but there were really only two main disc based systems, plus you got a Free Disc full of Demos before the Streaming/DL era)

Overall I think I liked EGM, esp because of their pretty much honest Reviewers

To me the best time of gaming was the 8 and 16-bit era when gaming was simple and the game you bought was it and there were no add-ons etc and to me that was the best time of gaming. I rarely play games now because it just all seems to be a money grab and games seem unfinished and then they bombard us with add-ons.

Used to be Gamesmaster but they are not around anymore I believe. It's been a long time since I've looked at game magazines.
Lot of those magazines are now gone. I think Game Informer is hanging on but barely. As a kid, I always looked forward to getting GamePro or EGM from money I made cutting grass etc and I'd sit in my bedroom window seat and read those mags from cover to cover and I loved GamePro's game guide section.

For most of the 20th century, the word "family" in America evoked a predictable picture of cookie-cutter cleanliness: the happily married husband and wife, their 2.5 kids, and one improbably well-behaved golden retriever, all under the same roof. But the nuclear family has steadily eroded over the last 50 years.

I think the first major death knell came with the 1973 oil crisis and the two-year recession that followed, which signaled the end of the West's postwar prosperity boom. Since then, the nuclear family has crumbled piece by piece. In 1970, more than two-thirds of American adults between 25 and 49 lived with a spouse and at least one kid. By 2021, only 37% of adults fit the bill.

More and more kids are returning to live at their parents home as well as times continue to get tough for some.

I'm so rich, you wouldn't believe how rich I am I tell ya.
They said they have never seen anything like this it's doing well, it's never happened before is what they're saying. They have never seen anything like it is what they're saying.
I have $400M in cash and it gets bigger every month which I'm told is unusual for a developer because most developers except me are usually asset wealthy but I have lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of cash.
I am so liquid they have never seen anything like it, it's bigly and it's liquidy and it's growing as we speak I built New York is what they tell me and they all say Donald before you came, New York was dying but your grand vision and development prowess brought it back and they have never seen anything like it they say.
I won the golf tournament at Bedminster and they say I'm told it was the biggest Pro-Am PGA event in the history of golf and by the way I won the event and I was the only one playing and I shot a +40 the best biggest score ever in golf some say unbelievable I tell ya. They said they have never seen anything like it. Even Tiger Woods was in awe of my score.
Incompetent attorney Alina Habba: Of course he has the money. He's a billionaire. He has lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of cash.
He's a billionaire of course he can pay the judgement imposed by the mean nasty ugly judge and the God awful DA James and her lifelong witch hunt of Donald because of her jealousy.

So Sanders' idea is that people would work 32 hours per week and everything after that would be OT pay.

Given advances in automation, robotics and artificial intelligence, Sanders says U.S. companies can afford to give employees more time off without cutting their pay and benefits.

A recent study of British companies that agreed to adopt a 32-hour workweek concluded that employees came to work less stressed and more focused while revenues remained steady or increased.

Consoles? No. Physical media is going to be phased out HARD though. I doubt PS6 will have a physical media version, its going all digital. Sony is going to have an iron grip on your game license rights, its going to be a fucking disaster.
Yeah I suspected the all digital content only but that also raises the question for storage because some of the games I have download on my PS4 and PS5 exceed 70GBs so that eats at space.

I think the next big change will be cross-platform gaming. That would be awesome to play your buddies etc on XBOX if you have PS. Now idea how Nintendo would fit into that though.

No idea but I think as long as there's demand, there will be consoles but they may be different in the future and we may see more and more cross-platform gaming as well.

Right now I think gaming accessories are priced way too high in that a new controller can now sit you back $70-80 bucks and to me that's ridiculous.
