That part was really the only one issue I had with the series, especially with Max's response. I assumed there was drugs getting pumped into the air or something.

Given the education he was presumably given in the Brotherhood, abstinence is drilled in to them.

The ammo perk has them in every other ammo box or desk drawer. Maybe he maxed out that perk, and has just found them under every rock?

I wonder how long it took Lucy's father to walk from Los Angeles to New Vegas? That has to be close to 1 week on foot. I envy the endurance of the fusion cores in the show, the ones in game barely seem to last an hour.

1. Her father would have known vault 32 was dead long ago because they died from finding out the truth about management. That it is left in this state for 2 years makes no sense.
2. Her father would have INSTANTLY known the people in Vault 32 at the exchange were not fellow company-men (though afterward he claimed to recognize Moldave) he is able to remember some weird password but not his fellow coworkers he is conspiring with?
3. Moldave 200 years ago was an anti-vaultec person yet she has apparently been in suspended animation. How?
4. Even if you could suspend disbelief on some of this, the idea that the brain didn't check up on Vault 32 and neither did Lucy dad in 2 years and Moldave just HAPPENED to know everyone there was dead and wait around for 33 to request an exchange is a BIG leap of belief suspension.

1- Moldave and his wife were in cahoots, she would have used her credentials to maintain the illusion that everything was ok.
2- True, he should have recognised her.
3- Perhaps she was with AVault Tec all along, learned of their plan, and decided to secretely start a movement against them.
4- Working with Lucy's mother, Moldave would have all the information she would need to construct an elaborate ruse.

The wiki suggests the capital was moved prior to it's destruction.

I think it mentions the year that the NCR fell apart and/or was nuked which is a few years before the events of New Vegas.

If that's all it is, it's a little dramatic IMO. Pretty sure this is not the first timeline flub the series has had.

Bit of a stretch to assume that just because one city got wiped off the map means the entire NCR collapsed. Shady Sands wasn't even the capital of the NCR, so their government is still likely intact.

What makes people so sure it is retconning New Vegas?

Just finished all 8, damn good show. Cannot wait to see season 2. I wonder what ending for New Vegas they will be using going forwards? Might get to see Caesar's Legion, or what's left of them.

Seeing the nukes hit L.A like that, that was rough. The only nitpick I have about the show, was how quickly the scientists hand-raised dog seemed to switch sides, considering the ghoul it is running around with was the same person that attacked it's master and nearly killed it. I thought dogs were more loyal than that.
