So to answer TCs question. Yes they are ok with it.

The stuff going on with Elon is interesting. I don't know what will happen, but I feel that so much of the goverment is being dismantled that when trump goes we might have a power vaccum in the united states.

It depends on if there is a politcal system left. If Trump goes after his opposition there might not be able to be elections, starting a line of dictators. Either that or parts of the nation dissolves and found their own country.

Most games being made won't need a system as powerful as the switch 2. Sure the AAA games will but many games people love like Hollow Knight, Sea of Stars, and others work just fine without needing to use the cpu power offered by switch 2.

Because so many people own a switch, I imagine that most of these games will be for switch 1 and switch 2.

This means that for switch 2 to be succesful, it's going to boil down to having the first party games be worth the investment. The zelda game needs to be amazing, Pokemon has to get it's groove back and avoid the problems that SWSH and SV had.

If it can't then nintendo is cooked.

Lastly is the world political climate this is the first time since video games were invented that the world has been this unstable. If a world war happens in the next decade probolly switch 2 will fail as to world will be too different for a console system to make sense anymore.

The power of PC has been making consoles obsolete overcoming the strengths that console gaming had over PC gaming. In turn the advent of steam, and hard drives has giving PC gaming a big advantage suggesting that Switch 2 might end up being nintendo's last console system.
