It's always a disappointment. Beef ribs have to be cooked slow and smoked because they have a lot of muscular fat that has to be rendered out. If done right, they are super succulent. For example, if a person lives in New York or Southern Cali for most of their lives, uproot their family & change occupations to get out of those areas, why would, once they relocate to Tennessee or Utah, vote for the same party policies that caused them to leave their home state in the first place? If anything, I would assume they would just register as Independent, or split-ticket vote. Or just outright not vote at all. --- |

They publish major circulars like GQ, Vanity Fair, & Vogue. I find it hard to believe that a company of the stature of Conde Nast did not engage in proper vetting before appointing someone to be editor of one of their major magazines. So they were not blindsided by unearthed tweets. They were fully aware, hired her anyway, but the twenty-something staffers didn't want to work with her, combined with the unfortunate timing of the aforementioned-in-this-topic fashionable caring about racism against Asians being en vogue (pun intended) sunk her chances. --- |
