I love Skyward Sword, but it's the most linear Zelda yet, functioning more like a 3D Mario game, with 3 different portals to 3 separate worlds. There was little free exploration there. Meanwhile, in Zelda 1, you could explore half the map from the very start, and do almost all the dungeons in any order. I wanted that kind of thing back, and Breath of The Wild delivered that.This is the most QFT post Ive ever quoted.
