A lot of us are just tired of consoles holding games back. The new AC game for example will "aim for" consistent 30fps... that's just sad. Not to mention every game being babyfied for console players who are scared of actual buttons to press.

Consoles holding games back is why my RX480 has lasted 4 years, and will probably last 3 or 4 more, instead of needing to be replaced more often.

Yeah no shit, it's not even a fair comparison. A console is made to be powerful enough to impress but cheap enough to be widely available, and often sold at a loss initially to build up a big enough audience. High-end PCs aren't aimed at the same target audience, they're always going to overtake console hardware.

I still don't understand how they can get away paying them less than minimum. Even waitresses, which get paid less than minimum hourly because of the whole tips loophole, are legally entitled to minimum wage for that day from their boss if they don't receive any tips.

The 13th Amendment explicitly has an exemption for prisoners as slaves. That's not a moral justification, it's still highly fucked up and needs to change, but that is the legality of it.

The new Netflix dub has some small changes that drastically change the way certain very important scenes and character arcs are interpretted, and changed some music because of licensing. Whichever way you go, make sure it's the old release and not the Netflix version.

Government should pay rent to the landlord, renter should pay back the money to the government through wage garnishes.
Landlord gets rent money, renter keeps home, government keeps renter from having to go outside to get a job.

Its an impossible argument to make because we have no control group showing what would have happened had we not social distanced. That line of argumentation is moot and we're social distancing and things are getting better.

Which is why a slow roll opening is best. But we need positive vibes when they exist, and its looking like things are positive at the moment (as positive as they can be)

We are the control group. The measures we're taking came a lot later and hit a lot softer than they should have and we wouldn't need to be staying in as long as we will if the US handled it better. Compare us to South Korea and you see the effects of timely measures compared to no timely measures. They prevented significant catastrophe, we're living through it.

Aside from lookin', distance from their star and the color of the atmosphere. Distant alien scientists looking at Earth could determine what kind of atmosphere we have by it's particular shades of blue and orange at different latitudes relative to the sun, and know roughly the temperature by the distance from and properties of the sun.
