How did you stop that? When I turned off the shut-off it was pretty tight, so I took the extra step of buying a can of WD40 so that I wouldn't put any unnecessary pressure on it. Precisely because I was afraid of that nightmare scenario happening.

Or just use a women's razor, they're made for that purpose. They'll usually have the lotion right on the razor itself.

I actually feel really sorry for the homeowners. Even if they're lucky enough to have insurance to cleanup the mess, the trauma of not only having someone break into your home, but to see their corpse in a bloody pool? That image will be ingrained forever, especially whenever they walk into whatever room they found him in. The burgler got off pretty easy in that sense.

I'd think they'd have to move out from the trauma.

In all fairness though, unless the mother doesn't contest custody, judges in most countries are going to side with her for getting the kid. I've only seen a dad get sole custody (in a contested case) in EXTREME cases, like the mom was clinically insane or physically abused the kids consistently.

And even if you aren't married, it still means you're on the hook for child support.

Like you say, Dems could try to bring it up again but then trump now has the justification that he doesn't want to "see kids ripped from their parents" LOL - remember in his world he was bound by law to separate them. Heck, today he's already taken the position that if the "set foot" in the states they have to look after them. Which means he's gonna go all out to make sure they don't get anywhere close. He could probably justify placing US troops on Mexican soil saying that he told them to make sure the caravan does make it through the country, and now it's their fault they made it that far.

You don't see any mass rallies (a la #metoo, SCOTUS etc) or dem representatives supporting them. It doesn't really seem like a hot button issue for them as there's nothing really much worse about their situation than all the other refugees.

On the other hand, it's a gold mine for those on the right who favor a tighter border. trumps hardline stance would really resonate with them.

I know he seems to like blaming the dems on this one, but really, it seems like he benefits most. It's tailor made for his message of illegal immigrants, and those images of literally thousands of illegals marching to the border would be enough to scare any right leaning person to go out and vote. Plus the dems have no real play; there's no civil war or genocide in Honduras that all the other refugees are facing, so it's like htey can just say "let them in!".

It just seems like a win-win for him.

At 0:15, Canada doesn't let you get divorced unless you've been separate for a year. It sounds like that $500k debt racked up during that year.

That's true, but what he should have done is make adjustments to their lifestyle, especially their kid's lifestyle over that year so that he could argue that the extravagances where self-inflicted. Like take them out of private school, etc. If he knew the kids weren't coming with him he should have planned accordingly. He didn't, and now he's paying the price.

What's really fucked up is that they let the ex-wife keep the standard of living despite his steep drop in income. Even more so that she's continued to rack up this debt on the assumption that he would be able to pay it back. That's just irresponsible.

$34k practically gets you nowhere in Canada especially in southern Ontario. If anything it would probably need a higher threshold.

On what are you basing that on? Putting aside living in places like TO and the hearts of major cities, I would contend it doesn't cost that much for a single person or even couple with no kids.

For example, StatsCan says the low-income measure, or LIM, as household earnings of less than half the national median income is $22,133 for a single person, or $38,335 for a family of three

I can't help but think it matters who you kill over how many. You shoot kids or Minorities/LGBT you'll still make news even if single digits.
