And her whole beat tape she released today is pretty cool. If anyone listens to this type of stuff and has suggestions I'm open to some. Not familiar with this type of music.

While the details of the case make his conduct sound indefensible, it's not nearly as indefensible as giving somebody a life sentence within this context. Assuming that you take his badge away forever and block him from legally owning a gun for at least 20 years, he already stops being a threat to society. Our country is generally backwards when it comes to the justice system, giving far longer sentences than pretty much any other developed nation.

He murdered a teenager, then tried to lie and cover it up.

https://www.npr.org/2018/08/30/643207427/texas-officer-who-fatally-shot-black-teen-sentenced-to-15-years-in-prison

A jury in Texas sentenced ex-police officer Roy Oliver to 15 years in prison for the murder last year of an unarmed black teenager.

Oliver was a police officer in the Dallas suburb of Balch Springs when the incident took place in April of last year. He and his partner responded to reports of underage drinking. Oliver fired his weapon five times at a moving vehicle. Jordan Edwards, 15, in the front passenger seat was shot in the head and killed.

Oliver, who was dismissed by the department, has said he believed the vehicle was moving toward his partner, endangering him.

According to The Associated Press, "Police initially said the vehicle backed up toward officers 'in an aggressive manner,' but later admitted that bodycam video showed the vehicle was moving forward as officers approached. Oliver's partner told jurors he didn't believe his life was ever in danger."

That child had his entire life cut short by a trigger-happy cop. That child's family is irrevocably damaged. 15 years with possible parole in half that time is generous when you stack it up against the loss and grief that family has and will continue to suffer through.

If you enjoy playing that way, you might enjoy playing Dishonored 2, where you can literally decide to refuse the magical powers right in the beginning of the game and have a harder playthrough (but I think it changes the ending? Not 100% sure because I haven't played that type of run).

Have you ever watched no-kill and/or no-alarms speedruns of the Dishonored games? Some of the people out there can pull off insane tricks, and string together impressive sequences of flawless platforming, stealth, and combat. Makes me feel like a bumbling goon by comparison.

Pretty entertaining if you like those games. I don't particularly enjoy watching game playthroughs, but stuff like that I like.

Is that the best you've got? That I'm biased? Already shot that down, feel free to re-read whatever you need until you have a grasp of it.

Firstly, you didn't. Secondly, that would be equivalent to "I'm not racist, but...", actions speak louder than words.

- Firstly: "Where did I say only conservatives are overly sensitive?"

Secondly... that's quite the leap you're making, but as is evidenced by your posts, you read into things too much. Must be a byproduct of you being so sensitive.

Didn't realize that Seth Rogan putting a hat on a fictional character in a silly TV show about a priest with supernatural powers equates to "liberals crying the world is full of nazis". Again, you do like to read into things a lot.

Hold on while I make a fictional show depicting a child rapist in a Hillary for President t-shirt and claim it's making no claim to the nature of real world hillary supporters.

It was needlessly added to take a cheap shot at their ideological opponents and you know it.

- Reading into stuff again. I don't know the intent of putting that particular hat on that particular character, but having seen the show it could have been tongue-in-cheek as much as it could have been some political statement.

Also, if you were to make a show and a character like that, and liberals were to cry about it, I'd be delighted to say they're overly sensitive and in need of safespaces.

Far-Queue posted...
Before you come back with that same, tired response you've been using, I do realize there are liberals who act that way, but this topic in particular isn't expressly addressing any of that. It's about spineless conservatives weeping and wailing over some asinine fiction.

It's a news article, it's not more about one part than another. Again, more evidence of your bias.

- Right. I just commented on the information presented to me. That's evidence of nothing other than that you get all hot and bothered when someone says conservatives are snowflakes.

If anything, it's evidence of bias in the article or on the part of duckbear. Keep on beating that worn out drum if it pleases you, but you know practically nothing about me, certainly not enough to know if I have a bias.
