Listen. If you take this place so seriously that you really do get "pissed off" over my posts, then you need to get off of the internet. Let's be honest. Anything I say or do, no matter how farce it is... will make absolutely zero impact negatively to the cause of me trolling an opposing stance. For someone to enter a topic, get mad and post, it shows that person has little self control and too much of an impulsive mindset. I just want fun. If they are willing to bite it (and this is CE, so they will), Then yes, I will have fun at their expense. The truth is, they shouldn't take anything on this board seriously.

I troll. I am clear on my trolling. When asked if I am trolling, I even state bluntly that I am indeed, trolling. The issue is just so hot button that it makes things fun here.

It's that part I don't get. What is fun about being an asshole and trolling? What's the point in trying to piss people off about an issue that's important to them?

Well honestly, it's easy. When you have people so passionate about a topic.... especially at the numbers here on CE, that are in support over something that the site itself cannot defend, nor could it be defended federally, it opens up for a good prodding point. There are always, always people who nibble at these topics and to me since those people are so passionate, they will fight me down.

Sometimes, I simply am so bored that I need a little bit of action. Weed topics provide that. What other topics can be made that would generate the level of energy that a topic on weed would, but would not cause riling up that still keeps interest? Not really anything else. Let's be honest here.

I will state my true stance once more.

I am not particularly "against weed" as much as I am just not in general, in favor or liking of it at all.

When Massachusetts voted for its legalization, I swallowed my pride and voted in favor, because I don't let my own personal feelings impact what I believe is best for the community as a whole.

I know that it is "good", but I still cannot truly believe inhaling anything smoke-like into lungs is good for the lungs. If nothing else, I would believe doing so would heavily dry them up.

So, I voted in favor of legalization for the following reasons:

+ It has been proven to being an economy booster. Colorado has proven it and while we are already a richer-state, more money isn't a bad thing.
+ It has been proven to aid medically and has actually helped sustain my own grandfather's health and appetite for a while before he passed away.
+ It is often used by many as an "alternative" to cigarettes, so it keeps that free radical garbage off of the sidewalks.

I personally hate the idea of people smoking anything at all, but let me say that I don't look at issues like I seem to on CE. I troll. I am clear on my trolling. When asked if I am trolling, I even state bluntly that I am indeed, trolling. The issue is just so hot button that it makes things fun here.

With that said, it is better for my state and its economy for it to be accessible to the people legally. I'll never smoke it. I'll never touch it. But my peers have every right to do what they want with their freedoms and bodies under the ninth amendment... as long as their actions do not directly impact my own.
