I think my monitor has the old HDMI. DisplayPort AFAIK is basically designed to send higher volume but I guess HDMI caught up

Gotcha, my old laptop blew up and Im using a super old laptop in the meantime so it probably will not even support it.

This is why I was thinkingon the mac mini since I hav always liked laptops due to being able to work on the go, but a portablecomputer is still good on that regard.

checked the manual online, apparently 144hz is doable with HDMI and from what I gather from previous post that would be better as it would not need to interpolate.

No option so DP is probably needed then.

I was also planning on getting a mac mini sinc its kinda cheap but that one lacks DP too.

what resolution is it

cuz "ultragear lg 4k hdr 160 hz" that i see on a website lists two hdmi 2.1 ports. so you should be able to get it to 4k 120 hz with a recent hdmi cable (one that can transmit 40 gbps or higher).

It reads as 1920 x 1080
It also is stated to have 2 hdmi ports AND a Display port.

Also it is 165hz, sorry.

As I understand Unreal is great for 3D and Unity is great for 2D, but now that they shit the fan people will want to of course migrate the hell away.

It was my first PS5 game and I played 3 runs, it was amazing and I loved every second of it.

Playing BG3 remidned me of those days, it was not as expansive and interesting as DA Origins but it was an excellent game in its own right, kinda like the Dark Souls 2 to Dark Souls 1, but most people say that as a bad thing, I loved Dark Soul 2 and it has so many good things that no other dark souls has done.

Chapter 1-The first trip.

So I had gone to visit some friends out of town, its a 4 hour bus drive.
I go, meet them we go for drinks, we have fun we crashed and then the next day we played some board games like the nerds that we fucking are. I go to the station and take a bus back to my town.
On the way back it appears I match with an attractive woman who seems to be rather successful, well read, hot, and shit.

Chapter 2-Courting this woman. This chapter can be TLDR'd

So we get to talk and she mentions she has a special needs 5yo, and I mention I have a kid myself, we talk about life and work and regular shit. she likes that I do a whole bunch of crap because I like to learn lots of different things, and that I cook.
What she appears to have liked the most is that I take my own kid to summer classes and that we do things together, I bake and cook for her, and generally am a loving father to her because her ex husband never did any of that shit and just left, she would send heart emojis and whatnot. We're both busy people so it takes about 6 weeks for a potential meetup but during all of that time she mantains an enthusiastic level of interest. But you already know this goes south right? :P

So, I say if I can come over, she says yes.and keeps bringing it up all excitedly.
She also sent a birthday breakfast for me last week and it was the first birthday anything someone had sent for me so that got her a lot of points in my book.
Time finally comes, I take the trip and we keep talking she is still excited but she cuts comms like 1 hour before I get there.
Next day I only get a single message
"hello, you there"
At that point I was already with my buddies because fuck it, I already took the trip might as well actually enjoy it if they are available, which they were.

Chapter 3-Serendipity

Yesterday morning we get up, and I usually take the bus super early in the morning so I go back home early and crash ASAP but we instead went to have breakfast at a taco place.
And THEN not only that but we had a debate that made us stay there for an extra hour. When we get back it is already 10am and I go to the station since the next bus leaves at 1030.

I was sitting to the left of this blonde girl waiting for her bus and asked if she was by chance waiting also for 642 which she was, and it was delayed, but it finally arrived and I got on. Turns out she had purchased the seat next to me and and then she pulls out a Switch lite so of course I gotta make conversation.

Long story short we spent the entire 4 hour ride talking a whole bunch of dumb shit, had a lot of fun with different topics, she read a lot of books I read, she likes a lot of shows I like, and she even plays DnD and is playing the exact subclass that I want to play WTF. So of course I asked for her phone number and we kept talking after we arrived and went home.

Key non verbal thingies I noticed that meant she showed interest is that as we kept talking she started shifting her weight on the seat gradually until instead of facing front she was facing to my side.
She reached into her bag multiple times to show me thingies she has, when we got off the bus I gave her a pass but while doing so a bunch of people took advantage and got rushed leaving me waiting for like 4 minutes until I could go myself but she was there waiting.
And she was the one that texted first that she was already home and how I was doing.

So yeah, screw the other chick I just deleted her stuff, not even a message shitting on her or mouthing her off because if it was indeed intentional she deserves no reaction and if it was unintentional the fact that she never tried to reach out to explain anything is reason enough for me to stop giving a fuck.

With bus girl, we are so going to fuck if we are ever alone in a room it's not even funny.

The game actually does lie to the player but in the player's favor as enemies are more likely to have lower percentages and players are more likely to have higher percentages. A 5% crit/1RN happens 1 every 20 hits which with the amount of hits that goes on in every battle isn't a lot of hits at all. However, in True Hit/2RN a 5% chance is actually 0.55% chance which goes from 1 out of 20 to 1 out 180 so you can see how big a difference that makes.
Besides FE1-5, in Fates, Echoes, and Engage all numbers below 50% are 1RN/doesn't lie to you so lower percentage hits are much more likely to hit.

Wait, how does it go out to one out of 180? that's 0.005 chance to hit which is completely different from 0.05 chance to hit.

It does not lie, a low percentage chance is still a chance and 15 are odds that you would love to have in a casino.

I have played enough HS games where chances of X happening and winning someone the game are front and center and I get as pissed as anybody else when the enemy makes me discard my 1/5 card that would have won the game during the next turn but that is what percentage chance means, it is never guranted until you get a 100% anything short of that just play to your odds and hope it works out.

This is coming from someone who beat Lucina's game on lunatic diofficulty so I was VERY aware that enemies can and will crit you on 1 or 2 percent and you will have to start over the entire chapter over.
