Even aside from that, I don't think the world (or at least the parts that use the 12-month calendar) would make the switch, despite that the 13-month system makes so much more sense. It'd be too much of a hassle for people and the systems that are affected to make the transition, especially considering the fact that such a transition doesn't actually serve a practical use.

We'd be more likely to get rid of Daylight Savings, and the countries that use that can't even make up their minds about that.

One of the very few things Democrats and Republicans can actually agree on is that Daylight Savings is dumb and the U.S. should get rid of it. The only problem is they can't agree on whether it should always be Daylight Savings or never.

So until they figure it out (which, knowing them, is never), Murrica is stuck with changing their clocks for no reason every half year.

And it will remain niche as long as there aren't many VR games (as in games where VR actually adds to the experience, not that 'making a 3D version of every release' bs).
So far the only game I'd really like to play in VR is Subnautica, but considering the fact a proper VR set-up costs several hundreds of dollars, I'm not gonna do that just yet.

Nah, I think it's just nonsensical for people to commonly say one thing but not actually meaning it. Like, if you want ask how someone is, go ahead, but don't be surprised if someone actually gives an answer longer than "Good, how are you?"

People generally do find me fun at parties or otherwise, because I know how to carry actual conversations and say what I mean.

Whenever people ask me that at the very start of a conversation (or worse, as they're passing by), I tend to give a slightly exaggerated answer, like "Spectacular!" while not recprocating the question.

I've successfully completed NNN twice, not counting wet dreams (because not having those is practically impossible and really shouldn't count anyaway as you can't do anything about that).
Both times, the first two weeks were definitely the hardest and I had a few nocturnal emission eventually. Afterwards it got easier, but the days just seemed to taste a little more...gray.

Why did I do it? I think it's a great exercise in self-control.

He does get better but the supporting cast absolutely overshadow him.

Bashir, O'Brien, Quark, Odo, Garrick **** even NOG.

DS9 was a kickass show man.

Even as someone who has only played about an hour of one game, that's nuts. His voice is part of the charm. I did literally laugh out loud at "A surveillance camera?".

I remember I always found it weird and almost jarring how characters on the codec would explain how to perform certain actions on the controller, especially considering they'd always say things like "Action button" instead of like "Circle button".
Fortunately I wasn't alone in this, as I remember there used to be a user here who had the following sig:
Colonel: "Snake, you have press the Action button."
Snake: "...what?"

Vegy dropped the phrase 'mommy milkers' quite a long time before he got banned and instead switched to 'sloppers'. He did this a couple of times with his terminology (I'm guessing that at some points some moderator would decide he wasn't allowed to say that anymore).
Same thing with how "Would you breed her?" turned into "Would you let her breed you?"

I've always liked the Metal Gear Solid and Legacy of Kain games. Initially my username used to be MGS and LoK fan (not realizing I'd be sticking around over two decades later, otherwise I would've thought harder on a better one).
When GameFAQs gave everyone a one-time opportunity to change their username several years ago, I thought it best to stick with something that refers to the MGS and LoK series.

Given that Todd Howard is involved and the games you listed are the ones that are the most popular or well-received you should probably manage your expectations

That's kind of my point. Long-time fans of the series generally consider 1, 2 and New Vegas to be the 'real' Fallouts and would rather see someone like Chris Avellone being involved.

Knowing how the industry tends to cater to the easily-bored movie-going audience, I too fear the series will be going for the Bethesda-developed Fallout games (3, 4, 76), and the main plot will probably be about stopping the super mutants and/or Enclave, and of course the Brotherhood of Steel will be involved as a hero/vigilante faction.

Call me a miserable cynic if you want, but I would be genuinely stupefied if they wouldn't go that route.

But yeah, I'm kinda curious about what it is as well. Search engines don't get me anywhere on this one.
