No, honestly I kind of hate using a phone for anything but the most basic stuff. Trying to browse the internet on a phone is awful.

Some of us just don't post that often. That, and I imagine a lot of of stopped using the site for a while but eventually came back.

It might be due to my upbringing, but I've always associated tattoos with white-trash rednecks. I don't think I've ever seen a tattoo that I thought looked good.

Boxing always seemed like it was one of the "big" sports, but it only ever aired on channels I didn't have so I never watched it or developed a taste for it. I imagine that's a big reason for the sport's decline in popularity.

This is basically me. High school was unremarkable. Of all the years of my life, those were some of them.

My family didn't get internet service until 1998, and at the time I mainly just used it to look up GameShark codes and mess around on Lego.com. The internet was mainly just a novelty to me until 2000, when the Dreamcast started getting games with online multiplayer.

Spiderman needing a mechanical webshooter makes about as much sense to me as Superman needing a jetpack to fly. These are supposed to be their iconic abilities, it's underwhelming if it isn't part of their natural power set.

I'd probably be a little disappointed, but I'd move on.

I'm indifferent about him. I always thought it was weird how the radioactive spider bite just gave him strength and perception, yet his iconic web-slinging ability is something he had to make himself.

The church I went to as a kid had what they called "Judgement House," which was sort of an existential religious horror thing. I never went to it, but I've heard they basically treat you as if you've recently died and are waiting in Purgatory to find out if you're going to Heaven or Hell. I know it goes on for a while, and I guess they present some depictions of the things you did when you were alive. Finally, it ends with you meeting Saint Peter in the stairwell, where he either motions for you to go up to Heaven, or down to Hell. I know they often split up people during this part.

Anyways, like I said, I've never been. But people who have tell me that it's pretty intense.

I remember some skit where he was chasing a bunch of flamingos around in a zoo, and apparently this was the funniest shit ever when I was a kid.

I wonder if some of the disagreement in these threads is due to some people being from cities with multiple high schools, while others are from places that only have one high school. Expulsion was usually reserved for repeat serious offenders in my old high school, likely because it was the only high school in town. If you got expelled, you couldn't just go to another school, you were basically forced to drop out.

We had a unit in 10th grade English where we read excerpts from various religions holy books. They were taught purely as literature, same as any other stories we read in class. I can see why some people would be wary, since I imagine some teachers would take the opportunity to inject their own religious views into the lesson, but it would also be hard to argue for their exclusion given how culturally relevant these stories are.

From what I've seen, they're mobile homes for rich hipsters. There's no cost savings because they're about as expensive as a normal house.

I've heard that maxing out Magic isn't necessary, because it scales really poorly at high levels and you're mainly going to be using Quick Hit to attack.

I don't think I've ever encountered this. However, one recent annoying thing with Bojangles' drive-thru is that they ask for my name before taking my order. I don't know if it's supposed to "make the ordering experience more personal" or some BS, but it feels like a pointless timewaster when I just want to get my food and go.

Yeah, I've always been more of a homebody. I've thought about traveling a few times just to say I've done it, but there's nowhere I really want to visit. I guess I could just go to some random place, but I have no idea what I would do once I get there.

Honestly, even when I've gone on vacation within the US, I feel like I barely want to go anywhere else once I get to my destination. Most of my family wants to constantly run and do everything possible, packing each day as tightly as possible... but I'd much rather just hang out at the pool.
