Oh I know it's a meaningless game, I just think the struggling offense is going to play worse after being given a week off.

Eh, gives some second and third stringers a chance to actually be on the field and show off what they can do, beyond a couple plays.

I wonder if NBC will manage to get Buffalo-Miami for Sunday Night Football.

Indy-Houston would be a good option too. I believe the winner of that game is in no matter what, and can even win the AFC South if Tennessee beats Jacksonville.

I suppose any game would be better than a large scale pillow fight between the entire roster of two teams. Just that...for the standard three and half hours...

I seriously think there's something going on like betting or being paid off by someone from Dallas.

I've heard the NFL has people who watch the ref bank accounts after the NBA betting scandal. I'd guess, if this is a betting situation then they've got accounts under fake names, a friend's name, or someone found using a prepaid card not linked to their personal account is how they've been getting away with it.

Yep, they're definitely backing into the playoffs not looking their best. But once the playoffs start, anything can happen. We saw that in baseball this year when the Rangers looked like crap going into the playoffs but then suddenly caught fire and ended up winning the World Series.

To go further back, who would've ever expected the royals to win a world series? Much less go two years in a row.
