Depends on how much the host country decides to spend. The last couple times we Swedes hosted, the country earned several hundred million kronor (hotel nights, shopping, food and so forth).

Is there traditional food you eat?

Different kinds of pickled herring, salmon, new potatoes, strawberries, common to have a bbq in the evening. Drinking akvavit (a type of strong alcohol) is mandatory with the herring.

The Socialdemocrats and the Far-Left would get 175 seats, which is the minimum majority.

Our Government currently consist of 3 parties (Conservatives, Christian Democrats and Liberals) who have a tight partnership with a 4th party (Nationalists). The ChristDems and Libs poll beneath the 4% threshhold. So do the Green party (opposition party) but the SocDems and Far-Left are doing very well. The Neolibs would also remain in Riksdagen if this was an actual election result.

The next election is 3 years away but the Government is floundering hard. And they have a razor thin majority as is and one Nationalist MP has already gone rogue and is now an independent.

blue = Conservatives
yellow = Nationalists
dark green = Neolibs
light red = SocDems
dark red = Far-Left

They really get some fantastic talent, but man, "Eurovision" is probably the worst word ever.

Keep in mind that Eurovision has aired since 1956. The point of the show was originally to unite Europe post-WW2 and also to try out the new TV tech on a continent wide scale. So both a vision of peace for Europe + television = Eurovision.

Stockholm, Gteborg and Malm.

They are the three largest cities in Sweden and the only cities who can put on a big enough show tbh (arena size, number of hotel rooms etc).

The host city is expected to be announced in July.

Im keeping my fingers crossed for Stockholm since I live here and since Stockholm wanna use Friends Arena as the venue. It is the largest indoor arena in the country with a maximum capacity of 65k.

Fuck you Lego. Im trying so hard not to buy any new sets.
