It was a tough decision but I uninstalled to stop myself from playing for now. 2v2 games are against coordinated duos with 1000 more MMR than you while you get paired with 600 Iron Giant players.

So you move to 1v1 and get paired against people with 6000 more MMR than you.

Maybe if they fix the matchmaking I'll come back one day but this game is a mess right now unless you try to find a duo partner which I don't like doing.

Yeah this game desperately needs a real ranked mode. I feel terrible getting paired with people at like rank 12 million as someone in top 100 it's just stupid.

Ah. Probably best to wait for ranked then.

I hope there's no doubt from the devs why this game is bleeding players. I've gotten enough out of the game to justify my purchase but every time I play lately I feel like I should just uninstall when I leave the game.

There's no room to casually hop in a play a few games against people of my skill level. It's stomp or be stomped

Have you tried silly queue or Free for all? I've heard those are a lot more casual and fun.

Lol yeah I'm FAIRLY certain their normal mode matchmaking just pairs you with anyone and ranked mode pulls from someone around your rank.

The problem is ranked mode is still down. Terrible.

I think this is a known bug (on ps4?). Saw something on Twitter about how they think they know the issue and will fix it in the next patch.

Testing out ranked mode

My 1400 mmr Superman gets matched up against a 2300 WW and 2200 Morty pre-made.

MMR is for normal mode matchmaking.

Ranked Mode Alpha tomorrow at noon for a week. Neat.

I've only done hard mode but every character has a nemesis they face in round 7 with crazy buffed damage/knockback (Gizmo faces Stripe and vice versa for example) and on round 8 you face "Reign Dog" which is a Reindog that becomes giant at 25% and can basically one shot half the cast.

Finished hard mode with everyone. Fun stuff.

Arcade mode is no joke. Beaten hard mode with Gizmo and Reindog so far. Keep getting to the end with Shaggy and losing though.

We just casually discussing cheater plugins now eh? Neat.

Once the netcode is fixed up and ranked is released I think it'll keep a relatively healthy player base. I look at Nick All Star Brawl with an average of like 9 players a day and it makes me feel better about this game.

Also keep in mind that's just steam numbers, doesn't include Epic, Xbox, or PSN which honestly I find at least half the people I face are on PSN or Xbox.

I'm hoping they were smart about it and most of the exp required is added from level 10-12 or later after you've already gotten all the important perks. If it takes 100 games to unlock a big boy perk it's going to be an issue.

Still 19 fewer characters I need to grind twice as hard to level up!

Pretty glad I already have everyone at 15 or higher.
