Guessing you've read the manga and know what's up then? That makes me hopeful at least! I was worrying all this build up would lead to an abrupt end, essentially making next season "Season 2 Part 2" TWD style. Glad to hear it's gonna be interesting.

John 117, although I'm not sure if his actual last name was ever mentioned. Spartans are secretly abducted by the government at the age of 6 and replaced with a clone, although the cloning process at the time wasn't safe for the clone. The cloned child given back to the family would quickly become ill, and die of an unknown cause which looked similar to cancer IIRC. Afterward the real child was forced into military training, stripped of emotions via drugs, and, assuming the Spartan program didn't kill them (which it VERY often did), became a super soldier. Their last names were replaced with numbers. So John 117 was the 117th child abducted.

Honestly these kinds of videos/audio don't bother me. But I took a particular interest in the Weepy Voiced Killer a while back. The killer called in after killing each victim absolutely mortified of the act claiming he had no choice, wouldn't ever make it to heaven, etc crying historically. Was very interesting.

For your first playthrough I'd probably just add in the UI/graphics enhancing mods, and then as your playing through if you notice anything you dislike grab a mod to change or remove it.

Afterwards go all in. Deadly Reflex I believe was the name of one I absolutely loved, as well as Midas Magic.

You can take the game seriously and play for fun. Competitive mode is about winning. It's where you go to improve against similar skilled players and rank up.

If that's not fun for you, stick to quick play. Otherwise you're just kind of being an ass. I mean, it's in the name of the game mode. Competitive.

It's not a great comparison, but imagine being on a sports team and telling the other guys you were just gonna go into the next game for fun. Kind of the same concept. Of course you play for fun, but you try literally as hard as you can to win it.

It was heavily implied he was going to win when it showed him grab the knife.

My only problem was that when it didn't show who won the fight I immediately knew it was David and he was going to spread the virus to the next planet.

I had hoped it would be something less obvious. Such as making you think David won the fight, when it actually WAS Walter who won. And then he unknowingly became a carrier for the disease by inhaling the parasite alien things and transported them to the next planet or his crew by accident. I think that would've been a lot less expected.

I've actually never seen any of the Alien movies other than this and Prometheus. Is David an antagonist throughout the entire series? I might go watch them.

Wut? This seasons been WAY better so far IMO. Literally hasn't let off the breaks for more than a few minutes all season.

The reveal was one of my favorite moments of the series! I'm loving how it's pretty much subverting most anime tropes in the process too. No, you won't win a fight because you get pissed. No, you won't survive because of the power of friendship. No, you won't have some massive dramatic reveal when you decide to let everyone know who you are. Etc.

It's been fantastic so far.

Then it became "Do X when your match is over."

They were pretty understanding and often watched me play. I remember I got all A's in like 4th or 5th grade and my parents bought me DMC3 for doing so.
