We were all still teenagers or young adults and also had personal contact with each other. From those connections, friendships developed. We even officially founded a registered association and started meeting once a year in a rented location to play games together. People brought their TVs, consoles, handhelds, and games, and we spent an extended weekend together that way. At the very first of these events - I was 17 - I was so excited that I didn't sleep for two nights. I arrived on Friday evening around 6 p.m. and headed back home on Sunday morning around 10 a.m. Apart from a few breaks for eating, smoking, and bathroom trips, I was practically gaming non-stop. I still remember the second night. I was having micro-sleeps at times. Four of us were playing GoldenEye in split-screen, and I remember exactly how, half-asleep, I started shooting at walls :D I think the following night I slept for about 1516 hours lol Fun fact: Our association still exists and we stil meet once a year for a prolonged weekend. Gaming isn't the only thing we do. These days it's more about grabbing a beer together and talking about the good old times. For me, it's all about the dialogue and the set pieces. I just rewatched The Godfather for the first time in decades, and it's such a shame that movies like that aren't made anymore. These days, everything feels rushed - fast cuts, constant jokes, and an overload of special effects. Films with real plots and meaningful dialogue are rare. I usually skip breakfast on these days and just have a hard roll around 8:30 AM, before lunch at 11 AM. After lunch, I don't brush my teeth, but I rinse my mouth with mouthwash. I brush my teeth again in the evening after dinner. On weekends, my routine is mostly the same. Sometimes we have breakfast or brunch at a bakery or caf around 1011 AM, so I brush my teeth early in the morning. But if we eat breakfast at home, I brush my teeth after eating. So for me, it really depends on my meal schedule. But I still have some pain inside of my right thumb when I play long sessions. Carpal tunnel was ruled out. The pension system in Switzerland is fundamentally different from the one in the U.S, since we have various pension funds (mandatory/state level, employment/company, private). All I can really say is this: when I reach retirement age, Ill have about $1.1 million in retirement savings. On top of that, Ill get a lifetime mandatory state pension of around $3,400 per month, plus another $1,500 per month from a private pension fund. Of course, that assumes my employment level and salary dont change much until retirement. That should be enough for a comfortable, enjoyable life until the end. Definitely worth playing. 7/10 - Good Enjoyable games with some noticeable issues. Still worth playing if you like the genre or concept. 6/10 - Mediocre Average or slightly below. These games have several flaws and may only be worth checking out under specific circumstances. 5/10 - Poor Generally not worth your time. Likely to disappoint in most areas. 4/10 and below - Skip it Significantly flawed or broken experiences. But when we do take the time to cook a real meal, we absolutely love it. Especially on weekends, when were not rushed and can really enjoy the process. My partner usually handles the veggie prep while I take over the stove.
