Honestly if you aren't a 7ft tall half-man half-beast mythical (mythological?) being just give up
When people actually believe this, I think it's just a matter of spending time around the wrong people.

The only thing I usually drink these days is an Old Fashioned. Simple and tasty. I'll probably have one in a bit when the Laker game comes on.

Eating the same thing over and over is the easiest thing to do and it saves money if you find something cheap that you don't mind eating regularly. I don't really get bored of having the same meals so I used to do this all the time.

Seems like many places have given themselves a raise. The lowest option for tip is usually set to 18% now wherever I go and I'm one of those people that has trouble choosing to tip less than what the options are. Everything is so expensive now...

I mean, if youre still looking for places in Asia, Vietnam is fantastic, and dirt cheap once youve got the airfare out of the way. At that time of year, Phu Quoc or Sapa would be my choices.
I was thinking Vietnam might be fun. I had heard it's pretty cheap too. What kind of things did you do out there?

How long is the trip? do you prefer to be in a city or more in a country/town?
Hmm. A little of both would be ideal, but I'm leaning more towards a relaxed vacation rather than overscheduling too many things to do, so probably more-so country then.

How are prices on Iceland? Is it worth going in November?
This is where my wife really wants to go. I had suggested it too. The sights look amazing.

Been thinking of taking a last-minute trip with my wife at the end of November to celebrate our anniversary. We were thinking Japan because that's where we went for our honeymoon, but ticket prices are a bit expensive (last-minute trip and all). Anyone been somewhere they recommend and also have some ideas of what to do in the area?

Probably like 115 now. I have not worked out in forever, so I'd be scared to try. Most I've lifted was like 175lbs 1 rep max @ 125lbs which i was pretty proud of! I'm pretty short. Lol

these apps were not designed with men in mind and certainly not for any decent person looking for anything real.

I used to agree, but my anecdotal experience has been that you can still find something meaningful on dating apps. I just wouldn't go into it with expectations too high. I never thought I'd use a dating app because I always over-romanticized how I felt you should meet someone. One of my closest friends who found her now husband on Bumble pushed me to make an online profile and I ended up meeting my wife on Coffee Meets Bagel. There are a lot of weirdos in online dating though, but I guess that's just generally true for regular dating too.

I've got two going, one on my phone that I can read during break at work and one at home. Both from the library:

Artificial Wisdom - Thomas R. Weaver
Chain-Gang All-Stars - Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah

Both are very interesting. I just finished The Spear Cuts Through Water last week too and that was a very weird, but good book.

I bought Chain-Gang All-Stars and it's on my TBR list. Currently reading Sourcery by Terry Pratchett on my Kindle and I'm listening to the audiobook of Dungeon Crawler Carl with my fiance.

Finished No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai and The Deep by Nick Cutter recently.
