I've worked at shelters and I know a lot of people just get animals and abandon them when they're no longer convenient. Sorry I threw that at you.

If you can't get a friend or family member to take them and can't find a rescue, shelters are the next best option. There's no-kill shelters, but they aren't always the most humane, so do some research in your area if you can. Or, if possible, see if your friends or family can help look for a home for them.

You call every rescue and they all say they aren't taking any more cats. You can't find anyone to take your cats from next door or any community website either.

This big motherfucker drops trillions of leaves daily in the summer and I just don't have the time to pick them up so they end up accumulating till Sunday. It ends up taking like 2 hours to clean all this shit up. And it's hot as fuck out here. I'm tired of it

Unless you have kittens. Haven't witnessed it personally despite always having them around but allegedly kittens is one thing they will kill and eat. Oddly adult cats they will befriend so the said cat will share its food. That I have witnessed.

Also they are tough fuckers. I didn't realize they presented no harm once upon a time and I unloaded 5 bullets into one. Yeah it died but it still managed to make it like 30 yards before it dropped. And one bullet was in the head.

I do really regret doing that I was young and my step father told me to do it so finally a excuse to use a gun outside target practice.

Only good that came out of it was I named the gun kitsune after a Japanese fox spirit since I read foxes prey on opposum
