alright idk if he's coming back in any timely manner but here's what I think I have on wallz. It's admittedly not
that strong but it does seem a bit weird to me.
based on the timeframe of these posts I don't know that it matters what his actual answer to my question there is.
wallmasterz posted... Abed, TOWN One-Shot Backup
htaeD posted... I am more curious if Wallz acted tried to use his power on Lopen
wallmasterz posted... I can only use my backup on expelled town specifically. Is Lopen definitely dead, death?
ctesjbuvf posted... Hey wallz, can you back up Lopen?
wallmasterz posted... I just got confirmation I cant
So in summary, when first asked, Wallz initially suggested he could only use his backup on 'expelled' town. Later, after being asked again, he claimed he 'just' got confirmation that he couldn't. This implies that his first answer and that language was based on his role PM, while the second answer came directly from host(s).
But this 'expelled town' language is a bit strange. All of the rules in the first post (which yes, I know were more or less copied and pasted), as well as the sample Vanilla PM, and my own PM refer to core facets of the game (eliminations, lynch, alive, dead, etc.) in very flavorless, standard terms. It seems very strange to me that wallz' PM in particular would buck this trend and specifically say 'expelled town'. If anyone wants to confirm or deny this point with their own role PM, I would be very curious. Not even with that phrase in particular, but any changes to standard style PMs that reflect a particular Community flavor.
My implication here, of course, being that he made up the role and thus answered based on what he imagined the PM might have said.
