7 and 8 sort of had job systems. Just instead of giving you full packages, they gave you every skill a l carte and you could build whatever you wanted.

Not really. Job system has a lot more pro and con to choosing classes. You can just do anything in 7 and 8 unless you really limit yourself,

Final fantasy is all about changing things up. They wont go back to a job system in the mainline FF series unless they can shake it up somehow (which now that FF has become a character action series that may be enough of a shakeup to reintroduce the job system and have it feel fresh). Then again, they have it in FF14 so maybe not yet

Its not about shaking things up. They kept things the same for like 15 years.

Then after SE almost died, they started chasing western trends without understanding how they worked. It didnt work for any game, and 14 needed a complete overhaul.

there is a reason DQ still does mega numbers in Japan, kids and adults love it. while FF is an old persons series that doesnt appeal to kids.

Ff16 could have easily done it.

15 half-heartedly flirted with it, with the different weapon styles,

Just make it so if the character chooses a class, certain weapons level up more. If your class matches the weapon, give it a perk or a finisher or something.

The combat in 16 was so basic and unexciting outside of scripted fights.

Every boss is terrible with long invincibility frames and wait times between attacks. Why are they so boring.

Trip is a really dumb design, and also boring to play as.

Some of the music is great (T Lopes stuff) and some of it is like a joke track making fun of Sonic Genesis music.

The online was dead on launch.

possibly the most forgettable Sonic game. Even 06 and Forces, while bad, had some funny, cringey, or unique things. This game has multiplayer, and im assuming its bad because obvious reasons.

The world map is really weird. Its so tiny and kind of cumbersome. I dont know why they bothered.

That weird level where it can skip over a stage because you wanted to play the fruit stage first

Too bad really. Parts of it are really good. MOST of the stages are fun. Having 5 unique characters is neat.

I didnt enjoy that game at all on psp. Modern version is much better but you still have to deal with one of the dumbest stories that tries to make you care so much for these characters that arent interesting.

The worlds are soooooo emoty but they game hammers it into your head that the stuff going on is really i portant. Like the mark if mastery? The ultimate test to be a keyblade master? Its popping bubbles. KH has always done a bad job at showing why anything matters, and this game is the embodiment of it

Avatar and Fullmetall Alchemists are both properties with really interesting worlds that I think would have made for cool video games but I don't know if any developer will ever be able to capture it.

Its hard because the fun of the combat in the shows is how it is animated and imagined.

In games, it boils down to push button watch thing appear.

Its something that i think would be better physically, like in VR.

Rondo of blood is completely linear. It has optional stages but the design is not what is considered Metroidvania.

vivi is the kind oF character who is better left in text. He is really different than most characters and there is no way to really get powerful wizard in the body of a child who is also going to die soon of old age.

Turbotax got really stupid over the years. It used to be so easy 10/15 years ago.

Filing as an expat is even more annoying. I pay taxes in one country, and the US still demands my info. Even though i get an exemption. Then I have to do it through Turbotax because other sites dont do expat taxes, even though they say they do. Then you have to pay to use their services for living overseas. Then I cant even efile it , so i have to mail it overseas.

In Japan, your comoany does it all for you, usually. Why is the US so backwards these things
