And the NSO port looks much better than the Wii U version.
3D World was a good game, but a proper 3D Mario has a far different feel. They're usually not really levels based, aside from I guess Galaxy 2. They're more like a structured adventure game where the point isn't necessarily to just reach the flag/end star but to also consider how you get there
3D World in general had very little of that "how you get there," because most of them were straightforward.
It's been pretty comfortable in Michigan. We got really high temperatures for a week or two in June, but it's been a consistent 70's - 80's since.
I'd much rather take heat than cold winters, ESPECIALLY after last winter. It was the first time I had to deal with snow in a decade, and of course it was the most brutal winter in modern history. Literally the first time a state of emergency had been declared for an ice storm in the area.
Heat is easy to avoid. Just use AC and minimize time spent outside in direct sunlight. And it doesn't make regular travel and errands more difficult with adverse weather. Extreme cold is brutal though. It makes everything hurt and is torture trying to navigate through high winds and snow and ice. Too much precipitation and you're pretty much stranded.
I actually like Super Mario 3D World more than the Galaxy games, although Odyssey is at the top.
The WiiU was it finally drove me away from Nintendo after owning every system since the Nes. Skipped out on the switch as well it was an ok system but Nintendo abandoned it.
haha, I try. Better to be nice than to be mean I guess. And just want to make sure everyones doing alright.
Ooo gay 90s
Eh, could have been worse. You could have had the Xbox version and wound up with Spawn as your console exclusive fighter.
Theres a rumor that they originally intended for Cloud to be the PS2 guest, but talks fell through (likely moreso on Square Enixs hand, since theyre stingy with the FF IP, especially back then).
I hope Namco agreeing to let SC2 be a launch title for the NSO Gamecube stuff is a sign that they're atleast thinking about making an SC7, and maybe just want to see if excitement for the series still exists.
The only real deficiency of the GC layout is that B+X and B+Y are hard to hit simultaneously, as are any 3-button combos that use B. In practice, though, opposing pairs are also awkward to hit with a diamond layout (though not as awkward as B+X/Y on the GC) and most games will try to avoid that anyway (which can translate easily to the GC controller), so that really just leaves trios as the problem (and that's really niche).
our nations are playable factions in a game akin to Sid Meyer's Civilization.
The fifth Conclave in my life, though I was only slightly under two years old for John Paul I and John Paul II.
how does the guy still have a job? he's been wrong about every single topic I can remember. for years
I think they picked Italian popes mostly on logistic issues due to travel reasons (pre-1900, travel often took weeks or months). Far easier to pick someone that lived close to the Vatican.
What? Popes were from Italy, and since then we've had a German, Polish, and Argentinian pope before now having a American-Peruvian pope. Poland was communist and poor at the time, but Germany is hardly poor and it's not like Buenos Aires is an impoverished hellhole.
Definitely helps, but a not shitty diet is far more important.
Depends on the motives of the aliens. But I have sometimes felt that sinister aliens invading, could be the thing that unites Humanity. Assuming we could beat the invaders and come out ok the other side
Then start pressing some fucking buttons, it is within your power to stop this.
I've never spent over $60. Last time I even spent that much was '09.
Kinda dumb when you can just wait a bit.
Of course, waiting can backfire, but on the other hand it's not like I'm running out of games to play. And hell, they'll remaster it anyway.
I bought a Tomba! Remastered collectors edition from Limited Run Games for 150.
I think I paid about 100 for Metroid Prime Trilogy Collection on the Wii. Worth every cent.
What do you mean by "complete"? Does it come with extra stuff or something?
Sold mine recently for 90. Better to sell at a lower price to someone near you than lose more money by fees selling online.
I sold my complete copy of TP 12 years ago for $25.
Which isnt even the worst thing Ive sold in hindsight.
A few months ago I got Japanese Pokemon Colosseum along with the Japanese bonus disc for $120, not including shipping. I was told those go for around 200 so I think I got a pretty good deal.
had no idea twilight princess was worth that much these days
