Check out your local Targets for some entry grades. There's a couple of them out right now and they're about 10 bucks. If you go to a comic book shop be careful I've noticed they mark up the prices on kits a fair amount. A high grade kit is *usually* around the 20 dollar mark.

The Target stores by me used to have them a lot but I haven't seen them at any of them in a while, unless they moved them somewhere else in the store. Ironically now that I'd pick them up too.

We don't.

He holds no political office. It has no impact at all on this country and is just another trial, unlike the trial for convicted felon and rapist Donald J. Trump who is currently running for the highest office in this country while being a convicted felon, rapist and losing the popular vote two times prior.

Yes, it's good enough to finish. There's a reason Season 5 is the way it is.

All you really need to get started are a kit, a pair of nippers, and maybe a hobby knife, so you could get a good feel for the hobby with about $30 or less. I would recommend either finding one of the cheaper, more simplistic HG kits (like a grunt suit you enjoy the look of or something) and/or one of the newer Entry Grade kits and try them out. I've been consistently impressed with the Entry Grade line, so I can absolutely attest to them being great starting points that require no extra skills or tools to make nice, color accurate models.

I second the Entry Grade line. My first one was the RX-78-2 Gundam (Full Weapon Set) and it was very easy to put together and looks great. Another really easy one but small is the Gunpla-Kun DX set. I put that together in like 20 minutes. My son has seen me putting them together and wants to make some as well and he put together a Gunpla-Kun of his own with minimal assistance. I'm actually going to pick him up another Entry Grade because he was having some trouble with one of the other sets I got for him to try. He has motor coordination issues as well so it was a little more difficult.

Nice. Been considering building a Gunpla at some point, but my motor skills arent great so Im a little nervous about screwing it up

I've been sticking to the cheaper $10-15 ones because it's my first time making them and I was worried about screwing it up as well. They are pretty relaxing to make but some of them have a few stickers that need to be applied that can be rough. I've actually ordered an accessories kit that's coming tomorrow that has angled tweezers to make it a little easier to get the stickers in place because some can be pretty tiny.

I'm pretty stoked for them to arrive. I'm a sucker for giant robots.

Haven't seen 86, since I haven't gotten into a lot of the newer mech shows (Or newer anime in general really). More into old-school Gundam, and Super Robot shows from the 70's and 80's.

86 is fantastic.

I'm actually in the middle of watching UC 0079 in chronological order right now. I finished all of the Origin movies and am on to the Mobile Suit Gundam series. Been going a little crazy on Gundam lately since I'm also reading the Origin manga and bought like 10 Gunpla kits in the past few weeks (still have two more to put together).

I don't read many comics, but if I do decide to read a graphic novel I get the physical version because there are no color e-ink displays yet. But that's fine because comics are very fast reads and it's much less bothersome.

There are color ones but the technology isn't quite there yet. Even so though with current comics mostly being digital artwork and coloring now, you'd be taking a step back by using e-ink instead of a tablet unless you're reading older comics.

I remember when Supernatural first hit streaming and they didn't have all the music rights for the first couple seasons.

Thankfully it was only the first season that was impacted. The other seasons all have the correct music.

That's the worse with older shows that get butchered or not released at all because of a technicality with agreements due to mediums that didn't exist at the time. The "remastered" versions of Baywatch are one of the biggest offenders. Not only did they make it fake widescreen but almost every single song that was used in it has been replaced and several episodes are cut short with scenes removed due to music issues. There's an episode with Little Richard that is now only something like 23 minutes long after all of the cuts because there's an entire segment of the episode that relies on his music.

The grindfest is the biggest issue with the game, especially with the shit rewards that you get for all of your wasted time. Then when people actually would find ways to lessen the grind, they would patch it out (when the time spent to patch that should have been applied to the numerous bugs and other problems the game has). I've been playing Mortal Kombat since the very first game and this is without a doubt my least played one out of all of them.

Knights! Knights! Knights!

There's actually a nice licensed properties revival going on in comics right now.

Mad Cave has Dick Tracy, which is off to a good start
Dynamite has Disney Afternoon (Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, Hercules & Lilo & Stitch) plus Thundercats and Space Ghost
Oni has the upcoming Nacelleverse with Biker Mice from Mars, Sectaurs and a few others (they stupidly did not release the premiere special digitally though so I wouldn't hold out much hope for it being long for the world if they plan to make the series physical only too)

I've definitely seen the kids being dumb and agree there was probably a reason to shut the boardwalk down last night because it's midnight and there's not usually many people let alone a lot of kids on there at that time. I was more referring to how the media is portraying the whole thing as worse than it is and only riling up the racist people because I've seen a lot of just awful comments on Instagram and Twitter on the various news and even local pages pages that I follow.

If it was for my cave, I'd stick with $1,000 - $1,500 range (definitely no more than $2,000) because it would only be for 55-60". For a family room I'd be willing to go $2,000 - $3,500 because it would be a bigger size. I actually had my eye on a 55" in from Best Buy and was waiting for a sale but it's since gone out of stock as I'm guessing it's been discontinued. Guess it's back to the drawing board.

seaside and wildwood boardwalk can get absolutely wild. Not the extent of it being anarchy, but the state and towns do not fuck around when it comes to the safety and image of the boardwalks.

Im not sure if youre familiar with NJ oceans and towns, but if you are, you know that families flock to the boardwalks/beaches Memorial Day weekend till Labor Day. Its a huge source of income for the state during the summer. They dont want stupid shit happening that would discourage tourism.

Yes, I'm familiar with them. I live about 45 minutes away. I went to Wildwood all the time when I was younger and still go from time to time but I mostly go to Ocean City now. Also, the same Wildwood officials just lied several weeks ago and claimed 80-100k people attended Trump's airing of grievances, so you're not exactly dealing with the most honest of people when it comes to information.
