The GOOD ones will use that fascination against you. There's a few kinds of fear...

The jumpscare. You can get used to these, or just not care.

Gore. Most of us got over this years ago.

That only leaves the deep emotional reactions. Those are honestly hard to do right. Have to get you invested enough, and ruin that life infront of you.

Parasite Eve, there's 2.25 games of good material, a book and a musical? That's enough for a modern game or two.

And yha, lets do Dark Cloud, it'll fail horribly in the modern era, either they'll make it trivial and pointless, or they'll include ALL the mechanics of the old days and nobody will touch it because it's too hard.

Turns out that if you make your bed first thing in the morning, the bed isn't as clean as it is if you let it air out and get exposure to sunlight for a few hours. You think you are being "neat" but you are actually being "dirty".

The Count is still a vampire, it might be a bit tricky between them.

In the OLD days it would have been Snuffalupagus because Grover did not BELIEVE, Super Grover wouldn't have been able to see, and you can't fight what you can't see.

Course, nothing is more powerful then a toddler that will NOT go with the script and play along....

If part of the mother company really is paid in part by a spy agency, I can see the point in forcing it to separate a chunk off that'll be under US laws, instead of just on US soil.

On the other hand, do you really want to be the party that tried to kill tiktok in an election year, with 18-21 being such an undecided voting block?
