I read something online (I forgot where - it was a long time ago) that told what sort of injuries someone in the real world would have sustained from Kevin's traps in Home Alone.
Neither Harry nor Marv would have survived the paint can trap on the stairs. According to the article, it would have pushed their noses into their brains, killing them instantly.
However, this is Harry and Marv. Brains aren't involved.
