I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the season honestly. I have mixed feelings on it, but it's nice to hear someone really liking it for a change. I'll have to try watching again. I've been rewatching the Capaldi stuff with my pals lately

I love that performance. Their late 80s/90s pop stuff is some of my favorite music ever. I love all of their records and was thrilled I got to see them live with 2 other original members.

I highly recommend listening to all of Cloudland

They used to do that a lot back in the mid-60s (William Hartnell and early Patrick Troughton eras), but they haven't done a "pure historical" (as they're known) since then, except once in the Peter Davison era.
I'm a fan of those episodes from back then, too. I don't mind having historical stuff with aliens, but if all of it is that it loses its luster

I'm gonna go with Nikola Tesla. I'm not up on all of the great minds in history, but getting electricity working like it has is huge. His discoveries in radio were massive too

One of my best friends that I supported a ton in life. Financially, emotionally, I gave her a room in my house free of charge when she was homeless struggling with bills.

The guy she ended up with was really nice honestly, but after they started dating I heard less and less from her and now I'm not even invited to her baby shower with him. It's been very upsetting. I found out she was pregnant after I ran into her at a Walmart of all places and told her to reach out if she wanted to catch up sometime. Radio silence.

Idk if it was him that pulled her away from being pals definitively, but I never hear from her anymore.

Unpopular opinion but Don't Give Up is one of my least favorite songs ever. Like I've dealt with suicide stuff and it always came across as patronizing.

Love Peter Gabriel though. He's amazing live too.

I would honestly be insanely impressed with the lie. She works from home half the time and it's work for a bird lab. For it to be a lie, she would have to had willingly lost hours of her life learning about birds and watching classes. Both things she did right in front of me

If you want Hall Effect sticks, just buy an 8BitDo controller. They're cheap as fuck and have considerably better build quality than first party controllers. The one I use on my PC was literally $20 and even comes with two extra programmable buttons.
