I don't know why that's the conclusion you drew in a large-player game. My logic train/presumption is that taunter is a full -on lightning rod that redirected *every* night action its way, harmful or not, and a kill got cancelled out by a protection.

Knightz left a PLETHORA of information in his wake
This post makes Chang pretty clearly town. We know now that when Knightz claimed Luis Guzman he did in fact NOT have a full flavor claim prepared. So Chang was right on the money here. And there is no way that he announces this information to the whole game while suggesting to obliterate Knightz if he is on the same team.
Town points to FD in a lesser extent for applying the pressure in this critical moment. And remember that Knightz first responded to FD with "NO", before later saying he was putting together his claim. It does look like FD triggers Knightz here to go and put something together.

Also we entered day 4 of that game fully intending to bus Wall. Wall was under tons of fire on day 1 to the point he claimed (And IGCD immediately slipped he knew exactly what Wallz role really did) so I don't really get why day 4 is being used as the comparison.
