Yeah my parents definitely come in handy in a pinch. Right now were trying to see if we can get by with my wife as a stay at home mom (I let her make the decision on that one), but weve always got having a 2nd income as a back-up plan if we need it.

Im personally lucky that I require very little money to be spent on me. Shit, I only buy new clothes when necessary. I have enough purchased and unplayed video games from when I was single to last 10 lifetimes, so aside from haircuts theres plenty of income flexibility to devote to my daughter.

Really the most fucking brutal thing is the formula, shes 4 months old and im spending over $200 a month on just that. Thank God its only for the first year. Diapers and wipes arent great either but not nearly as bad as formula.

We got a shitload of clothes and toys and supplies during the baby shower so that shit is fine for a long time.

Im uneducated on the situation in Gaza because I am neither Israeli nor Palestinian so I could not possibly understand their history and how they feel, so my only opinion on the subject is they should stop killing each other and reach some sort of compromise.

If so, what brought you there, is that still the reason youre there, and if not why did you still stay?

I still live in my childhood home just outside of Boston. Ive moved out a few times in my adult life but when I got married and had a daughter we bought my parents house and settled here to raise her.
