I always thought that the 5 point system was bullshit from the start with how shitty Sedwick is. I liked it so much better when we had 7 points instead. I was with them for 6 years and nothing but headaches dealing with Sedwick. Had to have a heart cath done and even gave Walmart and Sedwick about a month's notice. Everything was fine on Walmart's end giving me a week off for the procedure (Even though it takes only a day or two) didn't hear anything from Sedwick. Get it done and come back to work. A week later Sedwick denied my claim citing not enough notice. I was like WTF. My TL was the same as well as a few other Managers. The new Store Manager didn't care, she was an absolute hard-ass about how Sedwick is never wrong. They had to let me go.
