This honestly tracks with everything we've seen of Kenzie. Not that she's been outright nasty, but she's had this cliquey, mean girlish attitude and a bit of an air of entitlement. I'm not surprised she threw a temper tantrum for being left out of a vote, especially when that was the one person whose boot she very specifically wanted to be her move.Yeah, Kenzie still feels like a losing finalist to me. Someone whose attitude rubs people the wrong way, and she leaves FTC like Cassidy... which is who I'd say is who she reminds me of, just more of a mean girl and less of a narcissist, but still close enough.
I'm going to ask this as politely as possible: were you hated/excommunicated for a very standard level of not liking Shan...or was your reaction to Shan something similar to what we're seeing now?It was a very standard level. Like for RHAP, I was banned for "spreading misinformation" - when I was merely articulating things I'd heard. This was a very convenient excuse that made no sense to ban somebody for. For r/Survivor, it was simply me saying "Fuck Shan" - nothing more than that; it was after this that I started calling her "Shit" instead. That was just a week but I decided not to go back and I do not regret that decision. My mental health thanks me.
Also, where did all this "Q is a massive threat" thing come from? Two episodes ago they were all saying how they didn't respect Q after he tried to quit and they'd never vote for him, and now after being tribe pariah for that time, he's suddenly this huge threat to win. What happened there? This confused me as well. So many people said they'd never vote for him to win, and now... what?
I mean, yeah, we've all got a handful of contestants that most fans like and we don't, and I can absolutely see the reasons why Shan can be too much for someone, but your hatred of her feels extremely disproportionate. She wasn't even in my bottom 5 before certain excrement went after me for my entirely valid dislike of her. I am tired of being bullied for having a very valid opinion by people who don't have a valid reason to hate for it.
Money
Andy, thats way overboard, man. Were talking an alumni base that includes a pedophile, At least one rapist, a wife beater, and an anti-trans politician. Even if Shan is a scammer, shes nowhere near the worst ever.We all have that one person who we have a personal grudge against.
I find this analysis to be incredibly problematic. I'm not a fan of how the "guys" thing was handled (to be honest, if they hadn't even said anything and just dropped it, I probably never would have noticed) but to say that one moment in the premiere sunk the season is an insane overreaction. The Shit fans got me banned from RHAP and r/Survivor simply for not liking her and expressing that. The nickname is what I will always refer to her as going forward, as mild as it is.
As a Shan fan, admittedly I do find some of her fans to be incredibly obnoxious, especially in edgic (I'm sure they're worse on CTS; I don't even look at that cesspool anymore). But how is she "vile?" She's like, not even close to being in the top 200 worst people that have ever been on the show. And straight-up nicknaming her "Shit" is actually a vile thing to say.
Jesus Christ, Venus. Why would you hint you have an idol? She needs to play it now. But she's too cocky, and she's not fostering any trust with Charlie. In fact she's doing the opposite.
What sucks is that the end result is probably Q going home, even though taking out Ben would improve the season so much more (seriously, do not let the Siga 3 make half the final 6).Ben is the epitome of a one-note character that only has one quality scene all season. That time Kenzie comforted him was fantastic, but that's all I got.
I'm not gonna lie, I was terrified during that whole sequence. I kept thinking back to...I think it was Jaime finding the idol in S44, and it's so exciting for someone like her to find it...and then we get a confessional from Matthew saying he planted a fake idol for her to find, since he had the real one. But Venus finding an idol is pretty amazing.I am so happy that she found that like you would not believe. Not only is she in the minority, she's the one who recognizes the threat of Maria/Charlie/Ben, and that Maria is probably the leader.

Teach me edgicI don't know if Maria is winning this tbh. We've gotten very little personal content for her and you'd think they'd have wanted to invest more in the Malcolm/Denise thing for Charlie and Maria if it was indeed Maria winning. The comparison would be more obvious since in Philippines, those two child-abusing dirtbags took Denise to F3 instead of Malcolm, where she promptly waxed their disgusting butts. (Thankfully, there's no such scum this season.) I actually think
Maria says something like "if we don't blindside tiff that would be a million dollar mistake". Since they used that and tiff went home, doesn't edgic call that a winners quote or whatever?
Kleavor is disliked? I thought that people here would eat it up.I found Kleavor to be an unnecessary alternate evolution that pales in comparison to Scizor in every imaginable way. The design is... fine, I guess. The typing is okay. But Gen 8 getting a secondary Scyther evolution was a weird choice to me. That said, I am a Scizor fan, so...
I'm also more into the cute designs over the cool or meta ones. For me it depends on the design. I like some cute, I like some cool, I like some powerful. Also design was not the only factor I used when voting.
SexualThis (and I'm not)
I heartily lol'dShe worried too publicly... also Q is in bizarro world. I admit my comment didn't age well and I can laugh at it accordingly.
Men
Amber & Vinny getting eliminated tonight would finally bury this season.Haven't been watching. Has this season been that bad? I knew not to expect much with the COVID format and 90-minute episodes, but... did it somehow manage to be even worse than I expected?
I was honestly still hanging onto the bizarro-edit Q win but this episode once and for all murdered that, burned it and pissed on the ashes.Venus was very much not in this episode, either, so her bizarro-edit winner chances are up in flames too.
Honestly, Liz (and Venus) cheering for Q's downfall despite it ending any chance either of them have of winning is so on brand for them.yeah, it's much better for them to get Tiff out and take Quitavius to the F3. A Venus/Liz/Quitavius F3 would be the funniest of all time. Like we've had all-goat F3s before, but that one would be on another level of hilarity.
I hate the Siga trio. They're the only characters not bringing life to this season.Ben does have a music cue - the guitar - and that's noticeable enough to add something, but that's editing. Siga was the least fun tribe this season because they were too exemplary of "New Era" kumbayah cheerleading bullshit. Yanu was a total trainwreck and Nami was a hugely successful tribe that still fought all the time.
They'd better start targeting Charlie. Like, for fuck's sake, how has Venus been the only person to target him all season.Charlie is the biggest challenge threat left. I am hoping that they wanna stop him from winning the challenge next week and that he doesn't just walk to the F3 and win it all.
I haven't had access to Edgic in years because I lost my password, and don't have access to the email I registered with anymore. Has anyone had an NN episode yet in the New Era? Because Q is currently saying hold my beer.r/Edgic is publicly visible. The original board is not, sure, but that's an alternative.
The winner of this challenge will have to pick 3 people. Liz has nothing to worry about. She will ALWAYS be picked regardless of who wins, because not picking her would look bad, given her allergies and how she's even more famished than everyone else. And then she decided to cry and whine and beg, which ruined this. All she needed to do was keep quiet.
