Game of the Year NIT **Final Results**

A championship match like no other, as both games proved they deserved to be here. However, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney lived up to his spot as the overall #1 seed and defeated Dark Souls 17-15 to win the NIT Championship, cementing his spot as the greatest game to never pass the Elite Eight!

Many thanks to those who voted and participated! With that, I don't forsee any other huge plans for tournaments like these down the road. We already did one for champs/semifinalists, and we did one for the Elite Eight losers (plus a few others). I'm on break for a couple of months but will return in January to prepare the 2025 tournament.

Pretty terrible final two for me. Ace is not a type of game I enjoy and Fromm has never caught on for me either.

Paper Mario vs Rayman Legends would have been great for me. Mass Effect 3, OoT, and Twilight Princess all would have been great too. Just came down to the wrong two in the end.

Loved the contest though. Great idea and great execution.
