So I was trying to determine who had the best/worst schedules and wanted to factor in teams that have to play opponents who are coming off a Bye week and came up with this:

I just pulled the week 5 power rankings from ESPN for the colored column on the left (lower red numbers = harder schedule) and the games marked with
italics and asterisks*
indicate games in which both teams had a bye the previous week (there were 3 of them).
In conclusion the Commanders had a pretty shitty draw this year. Not only do they have a pretty difficult strength of schedule but they have to play more teams coming off a Bye than any other team. At least in week 13 they will also be coming off a Bye so that one's basically a wash. Also the patriots apparently had the easiest schedule according to the current power rankings, though that column is very much subject to change depending on how properly valued the teams currently are.
