44 hours in and at the final boss of Act 2 and man, what a game. I...still cannot believe they only charged $20 for this. That's utterly absurd. Like...I want to give the devs more of my money.
Me, an idiot: Well I've surely done just about everything I can possibly do in Act 2. Let's just start finishing things up and advancing the plot along now
Also me:Hold on you mean there's a whole ass other area over here?!
Maybe I was supposed to get into here through Bilewater first? I've been putting off the last stretch of that area because of reputation. But seriously going in through Memorium it wasn't even obvious there was anything this way and it was a pretty tight jump to get there at all (I am talking about Putrified Ducts in case it's not clear)
This High Halls Gauntlet is so dumb
i love cheese. i got the cheesy strats if you want them
steel soul mode is anti-fun. how do people play this shit? fuck you team cherry for putting exclusive content behind this awful mode
That one Bilewater boss though, forgot his nameOn the other hand if you(it's the one that appears at the end of an enemy gauntlet because fuck you)will literallyeat the cogflies should you get sucked in when he does that attack. Think I had 6 or 7 out at once and they were suddenly all gone lol.
About 11 hours into Act 1, just reachedSinner's Roadand man, I don't like that place.
Ok went back and did Broodmother. I feel like I'm playing just a completely game from some people in this topic because I specifically consider this a boss that punishes aggression, not a boss that rewards it.
Maybe we're talking about different things when we say "aggression". But if you try and just dish out as much damage as fast as possible against this boss without a care in the world, you're just going to get trapped by the glue or somethingand take 6 masks of damage in seconds flat. If you calm down, hit the little guys when they appear, realize the boss does a random number of lunge attacks every time, and just keep dodging it's not bad at all
Wanderer, but I never took it off for anything once I got it so it's not like I used it cause I thought it was the best choice
It may be the best option to avoid dash attack issues, but no force on earth will convince me that at least the upswing isn't shorter than Hunter.
The attack speed is literally necessary for some of the patterns. Just put on longclaw.
Though tbh I should've just not said that and let the placebo effect do its job
I did juggling with Hunter. You can hit more than one target at once if you aim them right.
So I'm not the only one who struggled with the (late act 2)I missed it somehow. Did the quest to find the master, but never got the duelShakra duel, right? Feels like I haven't seen anyone talk about this but have to assume it's a combination of it being optional and not having clicked on spoilers sometimes. I feel like this has now accounted for half of my total boss deaths in act 2 and I think there's at most 1 attempt I've even gotten close.
I missed it somehow. Did the quest to find the master, but never got the duel
I might need a hint on where to go in Act 2.
y'know I think I don't like this (late act 2)Groal the Greatfellow.
I feel like the fight probably isn't bad at all, but it comes with the added stress factor of "you just spent 5 minutes climbing back up here youcannotfuck this up, which matters because I'm a low skill player. At least I was already prepared for frustration having seen some some discussion of this part already.

SavageBeastfly 2spoilers but jesus christ the skill ceiling and skill expression in this game is amazing
I didn't realize Beast crest air attack lets you just not take contact damage
