RULES

Every user is allowed to vote for 20 of their favorite games on a particular system

The format will allow for one +5, two +4s, three +3s, four +2s, and ten +1s

You don't have to use all your votes and you can distribute them in any way you like

Almost every game on a particular system is allowed. Doesn't matter if it is a port, but compilations I'm gonna BAN

Put multiple versions of games as a single entity (i.e. mainline Pokemon, DX versions of GB games)

Japanese-only games are acceptable

Standalone expansions are acceptable. Anything requiring the base game is to be included with the original title.

Homebrew games are acceptable so long as they were made to be played on original hardware.

ROM Hacks are NOT acceptable.

Games run via emulation (i.e. Virtual Console, PSOne Classics, etc.) are NOT acceptable

Early Access games are to be counted only when they have officially released. If a game went into early access in 2019, but fully released in 2022, then it would be counted as 2022. Games which are currently in early access are to be determined as the present decade (2020s).

If a different version of a PC game was released in one decade (i.e. an HD remaster that is otherwise the same game, or is included in a compilation of sorts), it will not be counted for the later decade. This is a rule exclusive to PC for the time being. Remakes are still fair game.

Go by your favorites rather than gaming your votes to create more "interesting" results or whatever. I won't accept changes if I suspect this is occurring.

If you would like to provide write-ups at all, just notify me in the topic on what games you would want to write about, and I can send you a PM if one or more of your games makes it.

This will be open for at least a week. Might make it longer if it seems there is benefit to it. I'll probably give people 4-5 days for writeups too, unless some leeway is needed.
