Call me a master procrastinator (though actually we have rough plans), but yeah... I'm there already and will continue to be here for four (five) days before traveling elsewhere in Japan. If you have any good ideas, thanks.

Or if you know of cool gaming-related places that are somewhere in Japan (either not in Tokyo or you don't remember where exactly it is), mention them and maybe by chance they will be close enough for us to check it out.
"Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. It could be fun! So... what is a party?"
"You drink punch and eat CAKE! ...I think."

How many different Pokemon Centers do you want to visit?
My bracket looked like random picks compared to his.
Congrats to azuarc for winning the GotD 2020 Guru Contest!

Akihabara for general stuff, Odaiba for the Gundam statue, Shinjuku for the Godzilla statue. And then all the random themed cafes, restaurants, and stores which depend on your interests.

Nintendo Store
Capcom Store
Square Enix Garden
There's a place called Luida's Bar that's Dragon Quest themed
There's also a cafe called Artnia that is Square-Enix themed

Nintendo Museum in Kyoto

Where else are you going?
Shibuya Parco is what you want for official stores, especially if you have kids! Capcom store, Nintendo store, and Pokemon Center side-by-side - there was a Koei Tecmo shop when I went last year but looks like it closed in March D:

Yeah, I failed to mention I was already going to Akahibara. We already spent part of a day there and we'll hopefully come back again for more things. Thanks for the ideas.

We're also visiting Kyoto, Kamakura, Yokosuka, and Fujikawaguchiko (Mt. Fuji).
