It's a useless article since it doesn't acknowledge the degrowth movement that has grown exponentially, especially among gen Z, and is the premier anti-social/misanthropic philosophy of the modern age. It's non-partisan, and it's a strong pipeline for liberals or moderates to enter to accelerationist fascism. Trump and Bannon and Vought want regular fascism, but that's been around in various weak forms for a long time. What's new and different is accelerationism, which has billionaires with combined trillions of wealth behind it. It appeals greatly to anyone 25 and under, in a way that is in a lot ways stronger than conservationism can ever be (hope for escape vs hope for healing).
