If you reached out I'm sure they'd talk. They probably don't talk because you never initiate conversation and they assume disinterest.

I only ever known one and he passed 10 years ago. (Oh my its been 10 years wow)

Yeah, it's been over 10 years now for me... something I never thought would happen back then either. My last living grandparent actually passed away earlier this year, but I only met her once and that was kinda enough for me. The only one I was close too has been gone over a decade.

My final grandparent turned 90 this year and he's still surprisingly spry. It's going to be rough to lose him, but it always is.

I don't hate you on any level red. I know I haven't been around for gaming in awhile, but that's entirely due to my own IRL junk and not a reflection of not wanting to play games with you.

You do seem overly fixated on your immediate family and their stresses. That definitely gets worse during the holidays. I think if you find clubs or social groups to hang out with, you'll find they are less stressful and might even proactively invite you to things. Basically, shallow short term relationships are actually great when all you have is complicated multi decade relationships.
