I fell off of RWBY when it tried to move to VRV, but if everything were to move to one place where I wouldn't have to sign up for membership and/or pay just to watch it without intrusive ads (hopefully for free) I'd be down to finish the series.

Hoping RWBY finds a good home and is able to have a solid conclusion.

Also a few of RT's ongoing podcasts have rebranded and are going to keep going on their own which is cool.

Face Jam rebranded as 100% Eat, got to keep the rights to all their old episodes, can keep the same RSS feed and is proceeding with a Patreon model. So that's at least one great thing that survived.

Edit: Similarly F**kFace podcast lives on as Regulation Podcast. Though it might have a new RSS feed?

Edit Edit: ANMA as well but I don't really listen to that one. Eric is new podcast overlord?

Oh this is the first I've heard of ANMA confirmed as continuing! Awesome!

Armando, Grif, and Andrew from RTP will be starting a new thing as Midnight Snack. That might look very different from RTP though. I believe it also has one of the guys from Best Friends Today.

And a few of the Funhaus crew are also starting a new project called AstroGoblin.

Stinky Dragon has also confirmed it will be continuing and finishing the current campaign but no details yet.

Frankly, with how poorly managed everything was, this probably should've happened a lot sooner. Still very sad, especially with all of the drama and bad news that they had through the years. They brought me a ton of joy in the past.

My opinion is, it's not like season 3 is some flashpoint, and I do think people just blindly hopped off because of Oum's death, but esp starting with the atlas arc I just didn't like some of the directions the show took plot-wise because they were pretty obviously cases of someone grabbing the idiot ball in order to prolong the plot.

There were only a few times I noticed this, and pretty much only towards the end of Season 7, because how fucking dumb are Qrow and Clover. You have a serial killer working for the big bad evil, and you just have to keeo fighting each other instead of letting things ride a bit longer >.<. Plus Ironwood.

Those are 2 of the 3 main offenders yeah, and even though it's only in one season I think they both had long-reaching effects for the lore.

If clover's alive, there's a good authority figure to take the reins after subduing ironwood, and tyrion isn't on the loose and helps weaken salem's machinations in vacuo.

If ironwood doesn't freaking snap, that changes any number of ways the arc spiraled out of control.

Also they should've already asked jinn what silver-eyed warriors can do to salem long before they lose the relic of knowledge, since it's been established and known to them that salem has been hunting silver-eyed warriors specifically because she fears what they can do. There's no reason they should've been hanging on to that last question for so long.

I'm fine with them holding off asking anything else of Jinn. They only had one question left and didn't know if there was anything more dire to ask later. Ozpin was also in his most secret, mistrusted stste and Jin felt way too eager to have a third question answered, though she's probably just mad if anyone interrupts her MMORPG Raid time
