I would say the Switch was also definitely a giant cultural moment of reaching people that had never touched games before. It was just at its height during the pandemic so not as much dedicated attention to it as the Wii (though I still saw it get covered on the news).

Unfortunately console wars still exist but have been largely confined to Twitter. But yeah if anything console wars should be a point AGAINST getting on the Rushmore!
