Exactly this. If being [a] female lead in a video game was all it took to be number one, where are literally any of the other ones (besides Ellie)? That was my point. At the time I was unaware that that was them covering their asses after calling Lara the first.
It's tempting to linger in this moment, while every possibility still exists. But unless collapsed by an observer, they will never be more than possibilities.
