@Dantezoid I get that a huge ass ship running into the support pillar is a bad idea, but shouldn't there have been safety measures in the concrete to prevent a full collapse?Its a fairly old bridge, newer bridges have better safety measures for this kind of thing after a similar incident in the 80s in Florida. Even then Im not sure any bridge could withstand a 100000 ton ship
