I know the game keeps going but that was kind of an abrupt end. So many loose ends! Why did Devola and Popola suddenly show up in the camp? Whats with the Commander ? A2 just kinda showed up and then didnt show up again! What the hell is Emil doing back?

Already charmed by the start of the next New Game.

But also i have some sidequests i didnt finish in Aand they were several levels above me or for areas I dont think i was able to access. Should I be going back to finish those, or do they continue on through my next playthrough?

Stacked myself with movement up chips then it wasn't that bad imo.

You can only stack up to 20% boost tho. I was able to clear the second one with the maxed speed boost, but the third one was immediately too much bullshit for me to give it more than a few tries.

The third one you have to not jump more than once which is at the end.
